5 runs for me and mule mule today. 3 total coins (2 to mule of course), zero dice. Was in a group of 8 people. Only one pouch in all those total possible runs (so like 1/50 for us). Oh and it was ruin. And it only gave 4 coins. This was alternating flux 2 and 6.

So far collecting all of the people I know that have gone to WOE since the update the total numbers are:

    total runs: 77
    total coins: 14
    total pouches: 1

These were all done on flux 2/5/6 so they don't account for higher drop rates in upper zones (if they exist). But as it stands if coins drop completely unimformally (no way that is a word) it would take about 600 runs to complete a weapon if my sample size is accurate. Now it's small, so its not accurate, but even if you slice that in half to 300 hours, or by 75% to 150 hours it isn't something that I'll be doing. I've been waiting to WOE my gun/bow for a while and am on the coins stage, but there is no way 50 fistule drops, 50 bukhis drops, 50 cara drops, and 50 lanterns would take as long as the woe option from what I see.

Wow if this is how it's gonna be what a kick in the nuts. I would start screaming to high heavens on the official forums.....

14 coins in 77 runs? So, have I just been insanely lucky, getting 2-3 coins a run out of 6 runs with one 1-coin run and one 4-coin run from Flux 9? Pouches are fucked (which is fine if it means people will keep doing WoE longer; collaborative effort and all that) but I can't believe coin drop rates are that bad based on my own experience. I'll start keeping track from here on out, since I'm working on multiple weapons and intend to stick with this and finish them before the hype dies down.

(Also, Waylayer's Scarf is a drop from Flux 9, if anyone cares; I sure didn't, which is why I don't have a screenshot)

It very well could be that coins drop more frequently in higher tiers. Unfortunately, those are not open on Siren atm.

    I did 4 Flux 5s and 2 Flux 9s. The 1-coin drop came from a 5 and the 4-coin drop came from a 9.

Wow that is terrible, it used to be 30 coins easy for a win.

On Asura there's a whole load of people spamming #9. Probably 12 or so summoners just throwing Garuda at them and clearing the flux in about 10 minutes.

On Baha people have been massing WoE clearing everything in 5-10 mins. But the gameday wait now really shits on the event. Action for 10 mins, wait rest of day.. ugh...

Was flux 7 a new one? Was just a single dragon (the tier4 vnm one) which went down really easy w/5 but the drops were crap.

Only 8-11 are new, the rest have always been there.

Yeah, I was /search'ing the zone yesterday and laughing at the job results in the zone. Was at least 12 SMN & 9 BST out of 30 some people in it last night.

i seem to remember that 7 was already in the game and if wiki's to be believed, drops from it are sub 80, so i'm fairly confident it is old.

it's honestly not all that bad if it's a quick, possibly profitable fight followed by some downtime to do other non-game related things. is this now very group oriented with parties or alliances charging in or is it more weighted towards small groups of people or soloists charging in and wailing on stuff till it dies? would be nice if it's something i can just drag a DD/dnc job to and clobber things besieged style without stomping on larger groups that want to do it too.

edit: scooped on first sentence! addendum question though. why are smn and bst so much more effective in WoE than other jobs atm? i haven't done it in months since before it became popular and got made easier, so i'm woefully (no pun intended) out of touch.

Because it takes zero skill to hold an NM with pets and just BP when applicable vs. getting a proper setup that can deal with AoE damage/emnity.

Irks me so much that any non-pet job that goes there is called a "leech" >.>

ITT: SMN's and BST's are less skillful than any other job in the game because they don't need to deal with AOE dmg/enmity.

I was skeptical, but having seen it in practice it blows my mind that people think the new WoE won't be popular.

I mean, it might not be to your taste personally, but this shit is easy, and I don't mean "man how does anybody wipe on Sobek lololol" easy; I mean "Campaign with auto-reraise" easy.

People played the shit out of Campaign back when it didn't have a chance to give you uncontested BCNM scrolls or steady progress towards the second-best weapon in the game for nearly any job.

Then go in there and bring the pain hardcore. They'll change there toon when you become the main source of dmg lol. I know people would look at me funny with some of my old setups until they saw me consistently getting first... or super tanking all the babys that got pulled on rdm when there kiter died too fast lol

Yeah but campaign was the best source of xp for alot of people back in the day. Certainly the best quick xp. Especially for jobs that didn't get a single invite lvling in campaign from 60 to 75... plus it was easy and fun to just afk on a lot of mobs especially when all of them had mp.

People did Campaign because you could jump on for twenty minutes and get something done solo.

Walk of Echoes is currently that event, provided you log on right around the change of day.
