Not always, done a few good NA flux 11 runs, no pld, just nin/drk/blu with smns and blms, taking down skeleton 1 by 1, no one ran up to aggro boss,rather do it in kill 1 by 1 fashion which is as good as NA goes tbh.

Then you have utter chaos during JP prime time in flux 10 the mandy flux, literally everyone is everywhere, everyone pulling mandies to weakened people. Perhaps it's a design of the flux, but I have yet to see a good clear of mandies that doesn't involve everyone mpking everyone.

I was pretty amazed at how smooth the first 2 #11's I did went. I believe it was late NA/Early JP. One person pulled, 2 plds up front grabbing links with mages staying behind the melee. Randoms stun thrown out on the skeles. Cleared all skele's before pulling boss. Ochain tanked boss with some help from mages. The second one I died before boss pulled and it was a death feast until I stayed in a corner and unweakened. They should have a gave him Sakra Storm

Are there any other good drops from #11? Everyone was spamming it on phoenix enough for Flume belt to hit 150-200k a few times. I should stock up on WoE items for when everyone gets /bored and moves on.

My only experience with Flux 10 was during NA times. We ran around like idiots once and cleared it comfortably once.

Winning run was something like:
* Kill one NQ mob
* Pull/kill boss that comes to investigate.
* All run up the stairs to the next floor without agro somehow.
* Kill an NQ mob
* Pull/kill one of the bosses that comes to investigate
* Clean pull the other one and kite like a bitch way down to the entrance.
* Kill it at the entrance slowly while most people have no idea what's going on.
* Open chest.

Basically we got really lucky.

I don't have a SS or log of it but a flux 7 run i did got me 4 coins and a pouch which had another 4 coins in it. Its too bad they were all random coins and not all the same kind. (Coin sack was all the same kind) I only got about 5-6k XP from the run i don't know if that matters at all.

Eh, I'm not concerned with having to SMN it up. Whatever gets the job done while everyone else spams nothing but #11.

I'm new to WoE. I've only done 9 and 11 so far just because that's what everyone seems to be spamming on Leviathan.

Is there a job that does better than others for ranking high? I've been going on SMN and I get between 9k-12k Exp each time.

I'm mostly in there for gil drops, so can any of you WoE veterans suggest any jobs/tricks/tips that might help get a better loot pool at the end?

What he said, as logn as yuo get above 4k Exp, you get 5 random items.. and that´s it. The "trick" is to not go insane spamming WoE and getting 1000 silly jewels hoping for that 1 moment of luck.

in the past four days just running Conflux #7. He ballparked six runs a day for four days, and I am incredulous. Says he started with 2 Birth and 1 Ruin.

Yeah 7 is great, I get at least a coin like 90% of the time. Pouchs not so much for me but ive gotten like 2 in 8 runs. Had a few chests where every slot but one was a coin.

I'm trying to be useful and contribute to the BG wiki and am trying to create pages for the mobs which pop in WoE. Most are straightforward. Am I nuts or are the 'Varanus' the weird glyph/vial/trap looking mobs Tapana summons somehow in flux 11?

What's the deal with proc'ing in WOE? And does anyone know why fiends thirst for your blood occasionally? Wondering if there's a way to systematically proc and/or whether that message is a window in which we can...?

"Fiend thirsts for blood" means that mobs within some range (Large, but not the whole zone, I'd guess 50'-100') will move to converge on the spot where the last mob died, they're aggressive and so will agro you if you stay nearby. I don't know what makes it happen sometimes and not others though.

You can get the message if you pull the boss with the minis still alive, though. Nothing will have died, but it'll randomly say "Fiend thirsts for blood" and one will start truckin' on over.

So what happends when you do? just did a flux9 run and someone did red !! tough he repeated it like 4 times as whiting abyssea each repeat terroted for less time, but what you get gain from doing red !!?
