I don't see the point in complaining about gear prices. The gear you have is literally just as effective today as it was yesterday. The only difference is if you wanted your gear to be The Best™, you're SOL.

Seriously, whiners, if you were rocking full Usukane or had a Speed Belt, you're still doing just fine. Speed Belt hasn't been made obsolete, it just has better competition for the first time in years (because Ninurta's Sash sure as hell doesn't count). 2 more Accuracy out of a necklace over Peacock Charm? Get over yourself. This update added a lot of stuff, most of which comes from places we have yet to figure out and are probably not as easily obtained as walking down to an NPC in Jeuno and spending 5,000 gil, that are largely sidegrades to what was the top-tier last week. The only things that can rightly be said to have been ruined are weapons. If you just got your Valkyrie's Fork last Friday, then you have permission to spend 10 seconds crying about it. Everything else, you're being fucking retarded.

I believe Empty Seed has always knocked you back only if you had shadows. It's something about interaction with shadows and whatnot...

I had Third Eye up each time, rather than Utsusemi.

The first 2 didn't knock me back, i had no shadows but took no dmg since i had SS on. But I was knocked back by some despite taking no dmg, guess its more of "additional effect: knockback" and procs less at higher levels ?

Anyone else figure this out? The ENM mobs are unchanged, though.

I could be remembering this incorrectly (it has been a long time) but I believe that Empty Seed has a knock back effect even if the Empty Seed misses you.

In addition, what is the point of a game if you are not always pursuing more gear to make you better? Would people be complaining just as hard if they introduced this new gear and didn't raise the level cap? Did you want them to raise the level cap and not add new gear?

People that are solely concerned about having The Best™ 100% of the time are in essence asking that the game never be updated again.

Ok so the countless hours iv spent gaming / camping / farming for items which are shit, ill be lucky to make back half of what i spent... more than likely the new shit will be huge prices. Dont feel like moving on after nearly 6 years thanks just dissapointed a bit.
