New San'doria Quest Line

Just soloed on 78RDM/WHM. I let Max aoe the mobs to gather, diaga'd, and kited everything including the boss. Never had to cure the npc's, hate was on me the entire time. Max stayed on the boss while Ex picked off the adds. Very smooth run, took about 20min.

Edit: I was going through the text afterwards and noticed upon completing the the bc the game will tell you were all the mog tablets were found from the previous grab.

That's because the cutscenes physically zone you to the present version of the zones, hence the regional update message on crap like the tablets.

It wasn't the regional update message. It was the "tablet has been found in X zone" message for all 11 tablets after each one of those cut scenes.

Just finished up with this storyline last night. First off, did the big statue reset hate when it'd do seisomostop-or w/e the move is called? Seemed to have a bit of trouble with hate whenever it'd do that. Also, did anyone else notice a ton of lag when they did this fight? Everyone in our group was having trouble with lag, and our receive rates were like all above 1500..

Also, to echo previous thoughts, the final CS did feel put together worse than other nations' (Bastok from my experience). Bastok's was seamless, even with taking place in multiple zones, and the whole 'displaying where all the tablets have been found' part just seems like they didn't check it afterwards to make sure there were no glitches. The final CS for CoP took place all over the world and there was no zoning in between, right?

Apologies for the double post (although it's like 4 days later.. so meh), but had a question regarding Zogbog's past -- gonna spoiler to be safe.

In one of the earlier CSs, Zogbog said that Excenmille was responsible for killing his mother, right? I seem to recall something about him finding it ironic that he came back to the past to get revenge on Excenmille for this, and how the attack he lead (or was part of?) killed Excenmille's mother. If that's the case, is it likely that the expedition to the Orcish homeland that Excenmille is planning to launch at the end of this quest-line will be the one that kills Zogbog's mother, thus setting this sequence of events in play? Obviously the major question is largely speculation, but wondering if anyone can clarify if I'm correct about Zogbog's motivation mainly~
