It seems that most, if not all, of these new WSs dont miss. I've only personally test a few, but have never missed a single one, of hundreds.

I was partying with a LS mate last night and saw a miss on Fell Cleave, so it is definitely not 100% accuracy, it is probably 95% cap and you just got lucky.

1st time I used it a few mins after servers came up.

Gave me a hearty, if wry laugh.

Thus there are actually 2 possibilities: Induration A, Detonation B, Impaction C; or Detonation A, Induration B, Impaction C.

I believe the way we could test this is with Tornado Kick > Any Compression WS to see if it produces Gravitation or Compression.
I think you missed that Tornado > Tornado gave impaction, not detonation. This puts impaction ahead of detonation if I'm not mistaken. Gekko > Tornado gave induration, which puts that ahead of impaction. Induration > Impaction > Detonation should be right, though I'll gladly test if you'd like.

Wow when I read your post I seriously read it as "gave Detonation." Yes that does mean Induration A, Impaction B, Detonation C.

Shouldn't need to test anything again, but we could certainly verify that Tornado Kick > CompressionWS is Compression.

I know someone else posted asking about Fell Cleave WS properties for gorget use information. Can we get some data on other weapon skills as well?

STR and VIT mods again, not a big surprise there. They are similar in strength unlike Howling Fist, possibly 30-40% each? Mods pretty obviously increase with TP, randomly had about 250 TP on one of them (not paying attention) and landed 969 damage. Didn't test any other mods as it seemed unnecessary.

Edit: Should add, sample size was around 20-25 in each set besides the last two.
But from what I remember on dragon kick 5 tp raturn is only when you overkill with 1st hit. So your targets had to less hp to realy check dmg imo.

That was his point so the testing was accurate. Pretty sure everyone realizes all h2h ws are 2hit by default so this is a 3hit.

Fell cleave can definitely miss, and the damage overall seems really random.

It's not necessarily a 3 hit WS. SE tends to acknowledge and account for the fact that H2H always has an offhand hit in multi-hit H2H WS.

Yes, but Tornado Kick is a three-hit. It's a twofold attack, as per its description, with the off-hand attack after. Any other non-multi H2H WS, such as Howling Fist or even Dragon Kick, is a one-hit with an off-hand attack.

Yeah it makes it pretty meh on most targets. Need to load in more acc than you would on DK or HF since you don't get the acc bonus.

Just did a quick search through the thread, but has anyone tested if these weapon skills have properties of Light or Darkness ala relic weapon skills?

Tested Infernal Scythe as DRK75/BLM37 outside Windurst.

It seems to work very much like Vidohunir :
    - Like any Elemental WS, it can't miss but can be resisted.
    - Darksday (and presumably Dark weather) can proc ; Anrin Obi guarantees the proc.
    - Weapon D has no impact (BZ doing exactly the same numbers as Perdu Sickle).
    - MAB works like it does on nukes : straight multiplier.
    - "Staff bonus/Dark affinity" might increase damage, can't test that myself as I don't have Y's Scythe.
    - STR & INT mods, seems to be 65% STR 60% INT.
    - No idea if any level correction is applied in any way.

Using the traditionnal WS damage formula* yields fTP around 1.45~1.55 ; bit too big a variance to attribute it to rounding only, so I'm not sure it uses that formula.

    *"Damage = (( Lv+2+WSC ) * fTP + fINT )
    for WS, fINT = 8 + ΔINT/2
ΔINT : difference between your INT and target’s INT (caps at 24 for WS)"

Studio Gobli just updated Sonic Thrust

It appears to be a 60% STR modifier and 3.0 fTP at 100%. Again, unknown if there is a second modifier.

Paralyze effect on gun WS appears to be 60 sec at 100% tp, 120 sec at 200%, and 180 sec at 300%.

That's very interesting. I believe Herculean Slash is the same way as I was doing einherjar T1, we got dark elemental so I just spam Herculean Slash, and every single one hit for 276 damage, which is more than what I would do with my other WS anyway at the situation.
