I don't believe the lights are the same PER ZONE. It's probably a mob by mob basis. We know for a fact that Bugards can give Amber Light. My LS and I tried farming Funguars (because one of these posts on here said it was a good idea) and even though it completely sucked ass and I would never recommend it, these mobs in same zone did not give Amber Light.

Different mobs, different lights. Maybe has to do with size of the mob? I know Bats and Mandies are both small and only give Pearl/Azure. Bugards bigger and give amber in addition to pearl/azure. Theory untested, but a possibility.

Stones regenerate every 20 hours. You can hold up to 3 at a time. Get 3 > Wait 20 hours > Get 3 more > Rinse and repeat

At least that's how I understand it.

Only one stone is generated every 20 hours, but there doesn't seem to be a limit to how many the NPC can hold. So if you don't go in for lets say a week... You'll have a week's worth of stones on the NPC ready to be withdrawn.

Um.. so you've gotten about a week ago, the restore at 20 hrs a shot and you've gotten 9 stones all together? So you've probably had the expansion for 8 days then? 8 days = 192 hrs = 9 stones

Also have you been fighting the NM Bakka at all and gotten an abyssite without noticing?

Yeah no shit. And I agree, the mob hiding has gotten so fucking bad in Campaign... ugh. It's not even worth the EXP, but it still beats Sky FoV (I swear even the Flamingos are obscenely tough at 80, wtf)


I figured that by 80 they'd be a push over but no, they can still give me shit now and then. Abyssea ftmfw.

And I said as much a while back but yes, Stones stockpile without any cap. This would actually be a rather decent solution to the mess of splitting up Nyzule Isle and Salvage without the hassle of making a separate entry system.

I can personally verify (via anecdote) that he can hold AT LEAST 8, but I have yet to see proof that he won't hold more.

That's still wrong. Youre saying its limited to a max of 8. Saying "can hold atleast 8 stones" would be correct.

Edit: Before someone says "no thats wrong cause he can hold less than 8" I'm referring to the max he can hold since that's what the conversation is about. So the "maximum he can hold is at least 8".

As of yesterday I still had my items carry over. The only time i've lost them is if i time out or drop under 5 minutes left on visitant. I can check again shortly, since i didnt enter today.

but at the same time, temp items i get from Guerdon don't carry over as well... or maybe its intentional >_>?

only time 'up to' used together doesn't imply a limiter is when the up is used to describe something that happens (the verb before).
eg. The cost came up to $10
The lift went up to the 10th floor.

Only time I've kept temporary items is if I got them for killing an NM, temp items from chests have never stayed in my inventory.
