We killed Bhumi and got an Abyssite, we also got one off Cuelebre. Sadly we got exactly nothing off Lachrymater though.

It was like 3 or so blue chests about an hour in... then a few people left, including myself, and it dropped back down to 1250, according to a friend who stayed.

I suppose it's possible that someone had that Abyssite and got some killshots... but almost everyone in that run was a gimp, so I'm not sure about them.

I have that Abyssite. It has no effect on rewards. What it does have an effect on is frequency of chests (eyeballing) and actual "luck" in the higher/lower game (90% sure).

I just widescanned the shit out of Tahrongi...Bhumi nor any Ephemeral mobs are up...yet they were ALL up in LTP >.> Perhaps SE gave them a pop trigger since they drop an abyssite?

In Tahrongi the Ephemereals do not pop unless a group has killed enough mobs in that mob set.

I'm pretty sure the opos popped a week after a maint, could be just an odd coincidence though!

I have Kismet, but I haven't opened any blue chests since getting it; I thought it increased chest rate not the rewards?

Sometimes I fucking hate this game.

Killed Briareus while kiting after it Meikyo Shisui and killed the tanks with Colossal Slam. Like 6 people in the alliance did not get the title nor were they able to complete the quest. I assume that was because they were outside of some moronic range that SE added to getting the title. Some fucking bullshit.

Posting a new thing i found out about the stone. Dont know if its been said alrdy so sry if its a repeat.

Its happened too me twice now. Ive gone in with 3 stones and with in 10min i d/c and i cant log back on. first time was my stupid brother spilt water on the router and fried the damn thing and second was we lost power. anyways after logging on the next night, zone into abyssea were i d/c'd from, immediately my visitant status wears off and i get kicked out of abyssea. of course loosing my stones and having to wait an hour before i cant get back in.

So what im gathering from this is that your time still ticks id you get d/c'd from abyssea. i dont know a way to confirm this cuz the timer windower has only counts up not down.

anyone else experience this?

I'm pretty sure all of the NMs with titles work with that range. I've killed behe on my main and my mule was at zone line and didn't get title. But that's extremely lame that quest didn't even finish. Time Extensions and all chests are zone wide, why can't a quest clear by zone wide as well?

As long as you're in abyssea your timer ticks down. Even if you logout. It was right in the update notes day 1.

I might as well ask since I'm posting. Has anyone finished all 3 "main" kill-the-NM abyssea quests yet? I'm wondering what happens or if there's any subsequent reward.

There is, first kill you get moon stone for atmas, second and third kills get you the 4th and 5th ivory abyssites we've been trying to find. Not many people have them atm but I believe JPs have this posted if I recall

damn today's run was ass. got a total of 2 time extensions, once after 1 person had already timed out, then another after about 8-9 more people timed out.

We were doing a post-maint run in Kon tonight, and lizards started off yielding 0 exp as we started working on pearl...and we went on a string of not getting any light whatsoever on them, any ideas? Lights would just go away, and then come back

Something I noticed on bugards as well. Some of them would just straight up not give pearlescent light (this was yesterday) and the times I DID notice it, it was from the small bugards that gave half EXP and double cruor. I'm unsure if the lizards vary in size like the bugards do, but that could be the culprit.

They do, we had baby lizards, didn't realize if they gave a light or not
