Do the merit's stack, or just work in that zone (could probably test myself since I have tahrongi merit).

I know a single Merit applies to any zone; I wont be able to test if having both increases it further until I finish Playing Paparazzi in Konschtat. I was going to try for some pictures of Kukulkan on monday.

Yea I lucked out and talked to some people; they were going to go last night but some members couldn't make it. They even said if they had room I could join the fight and get the mission completion :3

I know when I was spamming my daily plate turnin I would swing by the area just on the off chance someone was fighting it.

for abyssite listing can also use BG-wiki

Ivory = white = mission / cruor prospector
Azure = blue = Bastok zones
Scarlet = red = Sandy zones
Viridian = green = windust zones

I've been trying to keep it fairly accurate; but i've seen mixed reports (and not many screenshots) for some of them.

--Notes on the matter--
la theine : seems widely accepted except the sojourn that is unknown
Konschtat : lenity from Ephemeral Limule confirmed but unconfirmed rumor of normal limule/clionids and Ephemeral clionids
Tahrongi : avarice from Ephemeral Clionid and rumor of Quetzalli :: Destiny from Ephemeral Limule and rumor of Cuelebre :: Merit from Bhumi, Manananggal, and Mictlantecuhtli

Im leaning towards all NM's can drop any of the non quested abyssites, I received abyssite of avarice off Manananggal , Ill post a screenshot when I get home from work.

It's still bullshit that only the first person who acts on a NM can obtain Abyssites... I am wondering if that's a glitch that got fucked with when they coded it so only the person who pops a NM can obtain the key item for popping the next NM. Is it only Fear Gorta that been reported to drop its abyssite to everyone in the alliance?

Ya its pretty retarded and making the whole experience worse, having dicks pull/kill bhumi during xp, whms pulling NMs and linking the zone etc. Ones like clerity are fine, either solo/alliance etc but easy fast repoping mobs, but NMs really need to be alliance wide. I usually do 5-7 nm kills a run 2-3 times a week and only ever seeing on abyssite so far for one person is retarded.

They do infact stack and its another +10%/+5% on top. So 2 Merit = 40% HP and 20% MP bonus.

I have both and normally sit around ~950 hp taru and pushing near 1400 hp with enhancement.

As for Abyssites from NMs in Tahrongi, the droprate seems very high if not 100%? With NM spawn rate between 30-1hr its not that bad to get people their abyssites.

If you're working on pop sets, you're not going to /random for who gets to pull/pop every NM. Unless I'm mistaken and Abyssites/Atma only drop from the NMs outside of the zone-boss tiers...?

edit: I'm not mistaken. It's bullshit. It should be a random chance for everyone in the alliance that killed it. Each kill might yield one person an Atma/Abyssite out of 18 in that manner. Sounds a little more realistic than just the person who either a) jumped the gun and pulled it to get the Atma/Abyssite like an asshole, or b) got nominated to hold all of the pop items and collect key item pop sets.

sorry but claiming 100% or very high because of personal experience is where rumors start.
Before NMs dropping abysites became known I was pulling the majority (all free roaming nms) and like I said, 1 abyssite so far out of atleast 20 pulls. And 0 reports from other ppl pulling now that im not the only one. 0/12 oh bhumi solo as well. Count your self lucky but its no where near 100%.

Guess I overlooked this fact, looks like NMs only drop one key item, pop item or abyssite, since I have only ever heard of abyssites coming from non-pop item NMs.

What, since when? I've pulled well over 30 NMs total in Tahrongi and never seen an abyssite drop to me.

Yeah, it's true. Abyssites only come from random NMs outside of the Zone-Boss paths. That's a little bit more fair since anyone can be given a chance to do the first action/pull on those, for the most part.

Atma all come from a variety of both types of NMs. So, the unfair bullshit is more focused on Atmas when you're probably going to have the same person pulling/popping each NM that can drop NM key items.

Maybe I should of been more specific about which NMs. Cuelebre and Mitch for me have seem to be 100% drop on their abyssites. Bhumi is BS droprate as i've gone like 0/30 and went 1/1 for it from Mitch.

I've done Cuelebre and Mitch several more times and everyone who has pulled those got the abyssite on first try so maybe those have high droprate for abyssites only. Or maybe it was triggered from weakness triggering as I've done that a few times on these NMs also, nothing but yellow !! only tho. Bio II on Wyrm, Fire IV on Mitch.

I'm still curious what blue and yellow/green mean.

Atma from my knowledge are alliance wide once triggered.

The rest all appear to just be to the puller then.

Or you could CFH Bhumi. They won't get the Abyssite, you won't lose the chain.

Abyssite drop only to the person who first acted on the mob, just like all the others besides Gorta. Neat fact, can pull,die, then have another person pull and the abyssite, if it drops, drops to both ppl.

I believe people tested that and it dropped to just the new puller and not the person who died. How could that mechanically work for both people anyways?

We did a gigas NM a while back that gave an Abyssite in La Theine. Don't remember which but only the popper got it.

Abyssites go to 1st action, Atma is alliance wide. Pretty sure we pointed this out back on page 10 or w/e we got the atma of the tiger.
