So alot of ppl have been saying that DoTs do not give pearl light. I swear i have seen DoTs give pearl light though, could someone round up a Screenshot for me please?

Whoever told you they don't is wrong. I killed a Tier 2 VNM with Bio II earlier today and he gave Pearl light.

Oh i know, i swear i have seen it said/posted on BG before that Dots give pearl. but all the abyssea pts i get into have stupid leaders that insist that DoTs don't give pearl... they wouldn't even let dia3 be put on the mobs -.-

some of those ppl also said avatars don't give pearl light, but i was able to prove them wrong with that one =3

They do. I've seen it many times on normal Abyssean mobs as well as NMs/AVNMs.

Is this a known glitch? I entered Abyssea and dced right upon entry, I log back in and try to get visitant status asap. Had 120mins before, but it gave me no option to get time so it booted me out.

If you leave Abyssea without getting visitant at any time for any reason old time remaining is wiped and you get locked out for 1hr if you fail to make it back within 5mins.

That being said, dcing at the start is probably one of the top 10 shittiest things that could happen to you ingame.

If you disconnect in abyssea; your visitant timers keep going (initial free 5 min and actual time)
When you leave abyssea the time you have remaining on visitant status and temporary items are saved to NPC. The following 3 cases apply (in order).
1) If you leave without getting visitant status / initial free time expires and ejected; that means 0 (maybe up to 5 min) is stored and all temp items lost
2) If you leave because ejected from time run out; that means 0 is stored and temp items lost
3) If you leave with any amount of visitant status greater then 0; that time up to 120 min is stored and temp items saved

Techincaly 1 and 2 are the same mechanic; but split and stated for clarity.

My time ran to 0, after getting visitant, and I got booted and I lost my huge amount of temp items one time.

I can attest to the Connection Lost before getting Visitant Status = 0'd stored time and lost items. Happened to me during the first 2 weeks that Abyssea came out.

Also I think I mentioned this earlier but not sure which thread: I d/c'd while playing in a party and when I came back I had 0 minutes and was immediately ejected. Had to wait 1 hour but kept all my temp items (~26 of them).

tl;dr

Just got a quick question about Atma: Wiki says that you activate by trading Cruor and Atma to the infusionist... does that mean you lose it after paying to active the effect, and thus have to kill the NM to get that buff again? Or does it stay in your inventory and you can activate it every time you go to Abyssea?

Just wondering because;

A) That would suck balls
B) Most of those Atma effects are ridiculously powerful. Eccentric Eve drops IMO the nastiest one for DD's with STR 50 DA +5% and Regain 2/tic god damn....

You always keep your atma, you can change the atma each time you enter.

Obviously another person replied correctly, you do not lose the atma when you use it. One other thing to note is you can not infuse yourself with atma until you've defeated one zone boss for lunar abyssite. Also no, you can not use 2 atma's at once if you've defeated two zone bosses.

Lastly, melee with EE atma and mages with Turul atma = tits.

edit: I'm hoping post-update on Wed that having defeated all 3 zone bosses in mea, dem, and holla rewards a key item for free visitor status in those 3 zones! A guy can dream right?

Shit, of course this means the 3 new zones will have yet more abyssite and atma to obtain... <3 Abyssea, it's fun being able to run around feeling like a God :3

Honestly what do you even need increased level caps for when you can get shit like STR +50 Attack +40 or Def +40 Regen +15/tic etc etc... Atma is just crazy.
