Any concrete info on how to get some of these abyssites? The wiki is pretty good so far, but I was out hunting tonberry in kons today for the faster stones one. 2 people got it in the 1st two kills, then for the next hour we got nothing. WTF?

It's completely random, i went to check if tonberries were up a few weeks ago and there were a few groups there killing em, i only had to kill 10 for my abyssite and the others from what i heard hadn't gotten one yet.. just luck.

Took me maybe 3 hours killing about 1 every 4-5 minutes with resting on my RDM. So, figure about 1/60 for me. Friend I helped initially maybe went 1/20.

But like there's no concrete info on the drop conditions? Like for some enemies like Chasm Hornet NM, only the person who aggros it will get the abyssite.

I'm pretty sure with Most(All?) Abyssite, the person who claims/Takes first action will be the only one to receive the abyssite.

So if you're farming the tonberries, and you're not the one pulling, You wasted your time =x

We just did it exp style, farming time/items while alternating pullers by /random. Keep killing til everyone has their Abyssite.

For all non alliance abyssite, it seems to work that way. Mobs like Ovni and Fear Gorta give it to everyone in alliance at the time it's killed.

I don't recommend pulling with pets, either. When going for the ephemral abyssites, I went 2/a lot but the two times I actually got it, I hit it with my staff before assaulting.

When I got merit and avarice in Tahrongi, the first action on both pulls was assault, so pets getting the first attack is fine.

Does any1 know the reward for getting all of the atmas from a zone yet? Also has any1 completed all the objectives from a single zone yet?(quests/Atma/Abyssite)

- Is there any reason at all to kill Akash?

Sadly I don't have a SS since I got it probably within the first 2 weeks of the expansion, but I got the Scarlet EXP loss reduction Abyssite from Akash.

Eh? Really? Does that mean there is an Ephemeral that drops the exp+ abyssite too there?

if anyones interested i finally made map-only versions of Konschtat and LaTheine since their NMs and unique drop pools are fully complete

So Gust Slash, Cyclone, and aeolian edge too!

You would think that, but there are several Elemental Weaponskills that trigger Ruby instead of Amber. In terms of the list though, Infernal Scythe and Herculean Slash both give Amber as well.
