Shouldn't work.

Amber light is produced by elemental weapon skills. Though for some reason most of the NIN ones don't count. Only Blade: Ei works out of the original WSs. I haven't tested Yu but I would expect it to work.

Does any1 know the reward for getting all of the atmas from a zone yet? Also has any1 completed all the objectives from a single zone yet?(quests/Atma/Abyssite)

Curious about this as well. We know the reward for all quests is cruor, but no one has posted about a reward for complete atma or abyssites yet. Or having completed all 3 in one zone.

I posted the rewards for both quests and abyssite. I got 8k for quests, 10k for abyssite. Both in Abyssea-Konschtat.

Also, anyone have more concrete proof that carby in La Thiene gives an abyssite? Killed about 10 the other day with no luck.

I'm pretty close to collecting all the atma in konschtat. Only missing Balaur, Fistule and Raskovnik.

Whats the best job/ws/weapon to build amber light (highest damage). Most ive been able to do around 450~ infernal scythe and ive seen a bst do 700~800 primal rend but his ws frequency / overall dps is much lower. Im still working on skilling up for herculean slash. What kind of max numbers are people getting on sanguine blade (considering on doing it with ridill war (or drk after level cap increase)).

Ideally im looking to build a group of 6 to farm max lights quickly and go camp tonberry lieje or other nms while sustaining time (my group has all necessary abyssite to boost blue/red/gold chests).

Right now the ideal setup being (War / Drk / PLD), Sam, thf, brd, rdm, blu or blm (with people being exceptional well equipped 4 relics and such)

As a sam I have little problem getting killshot with Jinpu. 2 sams focusing can easily do the job.

I discussed it with Isladar already and it's not happening, 99% chance. Abyssea is FFXI advanced.
