This isn't quite true there is only a chance that it will be a mimic. I've gotten 200 cruor from a pre-popped chest.

So you could just save it for the end of the run whe nyou about to time out and hope for extra cruor

Treant NM in Konshat popped with Rotting Eyeball. Severe Aoe 300-500 dmg + knockback + grav. Casted Silencga and Stone IV/Stonega III

Landed grav, para 2 and slow 2 easily, resisted (probably immune, never got them to land) sleep, bind and silence. We wiped, obviously.

We just had one drop off a normal Qutrub in Tahronghi [A].

can confirm this, we had a key drop off a bee in lathiene, used it to open a chest, opened right away using key, key broke.
Did lathiene with 9, PLD WHM RDM BRD SAM DNC | BLM PUP DRG. party was mostly 75-77 i believe.

Killed rabbit nm, dropped ring and pelage (magian item?) fairly easy fight, whirl claws got very strong toward the end killing drg/whm and pup/nin the process.

Killed bird nm, dropped neck. too weak fight, no deaths. might have magic def bonus ie the shield it drops, blm nukes were resisted most of the time and atonement 350ish dmg tops (might be from suggested hate reset)

Killed bee nm, dropped sailcloth and chasmis stinger (magian item?) Not as tough as it sounded with pollen and 100f spam, but it does spam the hell out of them. Animation of the tp moves locks it up somewhat however.

from there we explored a little. Not on the listed map yet the west side of the canyon where gnolls are shown has lots of clionoids. We farmed puks for 10 mins, killed 8ish and got 2 nm pops. Popped nm Puk, spams tp moves, III wind seems to get stronger as his hp get lower. PLD tank died at 50% DNC eva tanked the rest of the way seemed to work very well. Dropped nothing, no one got key item.

Could a RDM or COR or DRG solo the 2 pops for Baba Yaga and La Theine Liege? Or even the NMs themselves?

Does anyone have any information on the lights you randomly get in chests/after you kill a mob? they don't seem to add anything to stats from what i've been seeing, and i cant think of anything else they'd do other than that.

Went into Tahrongi, killed sandworm NM at start, it had repopped before we exited (~1hr respawn or so). First kill gaxe drop, 2nd kill nothing.

Smn deaggro trick should almost certainly work, as pup deaggro trick does. I was using that to check the chests, having oniwaka get their attention, then deactivating, causing them to change back.

Though once i screwed up and had damage on me, which caused him to regen III me instead of slowing the mimic... :s that didnt go so hot.

Has anyone with a moutain of cruor (failure etc) got the time extention yet and can confirm how long it is?

Only gone in once so far...I should easily get the cruor to buy it when we go in next (tomorrow).

Downside is they may stun on pop, so there's a chance you're dead before the avatar even attacks it.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but...

Have the people who've received key items from NMs been alliance leader? I received mossy Adamantoise shell key item from Chukwa today and happened to be ally lead. Just thought it was a strange coincidence seeing as how I was leading the run, but it'd be a convenient way to make sure all the key item drops go to the same person
