Overly difficult mob. Was with Cichy on the kill, Benediction'd at 70%, damage dropped by probably 75% and it would randomly absorb any magic damage done to it. Kaitens dropped from 800~ to 200~. Spams buffs, has a potent TP regen, need to spam the fuck out of dispel. At about 50% after Bene, it used Cyclonic Turmoil 3-4 times in a row, killing every melee and one Pld (Aegis). While we were recovering and still doing some damage, it started spamming Cure VI, for about 800-1000. Didnt move it for 5 minutes, then re-engaged and it magically stopped using Cure VI til about 10%, where it started spamming Cure VI again. Worked it down to 8% and it stopped Curing again. At 2%, it used Cyclonic Turmoil 3-4 times in a row again, killing the DD once again. I worked my way up outta there and finished it with Meikyo Shisui. Randomly cast with some amount of Fast Cast, Aeroga 3 for 900-1500, Aero 5, and Tornado 2. Tough shit.

Like TR said it seems to have fast cast and the Cure spells were very fast. We had 1 rng and he seemed to be doing good reliable dmg. Like someone in other group said this should be probably done with rngs and smns. We have bunch of sams and the fight took maybe 40 min? With fully buffed rngs I think it could take about 15.

Yeah another time sink.
As far as I see right now if you want to finish it efficiently you'd have to:
- have 1 run a week, up to 120 min and farm the carabossa pop ( took 3 baba yaga pops for me to get the 1st key item, 1 fly to get the other)
- have 2nd run where you pop them (with rngs and optimal setup I think this could take 15 min each + med time + if repop is about 5 min on ???)

Given that it would take over a month.

When we fought Baba Yaga we seen the !! pop over her head and she did nothing for like 1 min, seen same thing happen on big crab in WoE

Forgot to add that we also got 3 Murmuring Globules from Ley Clionids at E6, seems a rather high drop rate. Only posting to update that the pop item for soulflayer is not exclusive to J11.

What if exploiting the weakness makes it 100% drop and doubles the drops?

We have not begun to explore this option yet as the random factor is well random. If anyone is doing NMs try to toss out random spells/ws/anything that might be plausible and pay attention to the ! that pops up.
