That's pretty nice for people that only want to do a once/week massive grind I think. What quest is it that expands your stone capacity to 4? I can't find any information on it anywhere ;<

The impulse belt? That drops off the Gnat, we got one last run but no RDM neck ._.
sorry if this has been asked already but should i assume that nothing worth killing can be killed with less than an ally? or are some of the NMs decently 6manable?
It's not yet known how to increase the max traverser stones. But it seems apparent that it comes from the ancient abyssite of avarice key item from Tahrongi. I don't think anyone has obtained it yet to confirm it. (you can see all the AA's in my post here)
In addition there are AAs that reduce the time it takes for traversers to replenish, and two that extend the time each traverser grants. So there's really some more decent potential to maximize visitant time.
For the eye we had our wars tank the small ones that popped, and the rest of the melees worked on killing those while the blms and rngs stayed on the main. It seemed to pop at 75% and 25%. We never had more than 3 out, so it wasn't a problem. When the large eye died, the smaller ones did as well.
In regards to the peiste, nobody said anything about it taking reduced damage from nukes / melee, other than resists. The melees didn't try skillchains or elemental weaponskills while everyone was up (apparently they don't want to try to get atma or extra drops from using monster weakness). I think we had a blm cycle through all elements of nukes though, but no !!!s from that. For tank subs, he can hit for 400ish and triple attack, so that would be a ton of damage to take per round.
As for the setup, we had 2 pld tanks, 3 wars, rest of the dd were blm or rng. Support jobs in each party. At one point we were down to one live warrior as the only melee--it can deal damage fast and we weren't sure of what move was causing the st20 curse.
Atma Findings:
When you see !! you are definitely hitting the mobs weaknesses. By doing that a bunch of times and with a group of 6, I am definitely getting Atma key items (two so far). Any time with a group of more than 6, I get nothing. So have everybody level 80, and get a good group together if you want to get Atma. I think you guys aren't doing it because you are abusing the system by using 18 people. If you hit the NM with their weaknesses, they usually aren't bad with 6 people. They don't go into their rage fits when you hit them with the weaknesses.
So yesterday, I started with 35 minutes left from a previous visit. I extended using two of my three stones (95 minutes total) and my group was inside for an hour. Didn't want to use the last stone yet, as I would have wasted the last three minutes. Once we were done, I used a Conflux to warp back to camp with 31 minutes left, and then turned in my last stone, extending my visitant status by... 27 minutes?
Anyone else seen this, and have any idea what might cause it? Could it be that I turned in stones two times in one visit?
Do you have any good reason to think more than 6 would change anything? It sounds like arbitrary speculation, or the stupidity of the masses is just preventing them from following orders.
Any information on which NMs dropped which Atmas, and what the weaknesses are would be great.
been trying to work on understanding Abyssea and summarizing it in a simple to understand way but it seems there are still quite a lot of gaps here and there, which is kinda expected since we're less than 2 weeks in..
nonetheless, here's something i'm currently working on for Abyssea - La Theine. Its the first one i'm doing since I started off in Latheine first too..
can kinda tell its far from done, but was hoping that people could maybe visualise the spots that need to be filled in to complete the puzzle... and also go thru the info to see if its generally correct or not.
scrapping together around 30 pages of info, a wiki and my own zone recce does leave a large margin for error after all..
as far as i can tell, people have already solved 2/4 parts of the key items for LaTheine's superboss, which in all likelihood, is an Elasmoth (behe reskin).. if based on the website and trailer only... and Konschtat probably horny turtle, and Tahrongi's would be Iratham.
back to LaTheine, of the 2 paths left to solve, it seems one of them might be the demilume VNM style one? i still don't know much about that.. only skimmed lately...
anyway.. here's what I've compiled so far. will keep updating

gawd picasa downgrades the img quality to shit.
So after about 20 kills of Latheine Leige for Carabosse key item and 0 key item drops, we tried 21.
We've never gotten the !! to appear above his head until this time, and it did it everytime I casted Flash. Now the odd thing is I cast flash on it plenty of times before. The only difference is we had a pup in the party this time too >.>.
Anyays, the bastard FLIPPED THE FUCK OUT after that. It immediately went into ga3 -> WS X3 mode, and wouldnt do anything else. Just triple attacked one round, ga3 -> Venom X3 -> repeat. Crit hit pld for 400+ damage. Never seen this guy like this. All other kills were cake.
Added to the pain was both our healers ran out of time mid fight Q.Q.
One member suggested that since it was darksday for this kill, the opposite element (flash) was making it !!.
Here is some SSs:
