What order is the strength of lights again?
What order is the strength of lights again?
sorry for coming off slow, i have actually been reading the entire thread just wanted to confirm a few things before i do my run tonight.
get an alliance, bring 2-3blms, have them get the kill shots, that'll set you into azure(potential TE mode) then you just have to simply avoid any other special type of kill. no WS kills, no SC, just melee them down.
the more time in azure mode//more blm kills without some melee screwing things up, will make the chests get better?
Anyone know how long the wait is for a new stone with celerity abyssite?
I've read where people lost chain killing a NM or pulling wrong mob. The two runs I have been in just CFH on it and killed then continued on like normal with exp staying the same.
IMO, lights are built up, an accumulation of all of the lights you've received.
Not sure the exact names of strengths, but ones I remember
Feeble
Faint
Mild
Strong
Intense
Would be something like feeble adds +1 to your aura. Faint would be +2, etc. Each time you get the feeble message your aura increases. So in the example below, you would be Azure aura +5 and ruby aura +3: (Going to say this is purely hypothetical atm, but would be my best guess from observations.)
You gain a feeble azure light. (+1)
You gain a feeble azure light. (+1)
You gain a faint ruby light. (+2)
You gain a feeble azure light. (+1)
You gain a faint azure light. (+2)
You gain a feeble azure light. (+1)
You gain a feeble ruby light. (+1)
Getting up to a combined total of lights +10 would give you tier 3 (guess) chests
Getting up to +20 would give you tier 4 (guess) chests
Getting up to +30 would give you tier 5 (guess) chests
Getting up to +40 would give you tier 6 (guess) chests = 1000 cruor, 1250 exp, Time
You can see from the above, that each kill is increasing your light. It's not a reflection of your total light, just how much you gained from that mob. The type of chest that drops would be more often your highest aura, and less often your next highest aura, and so on, all the way down to a base rate of chests dropping regardless of killshot type. My best guess, either your total aura or the exp you're gaining from the mob would determine the rate of chests dropping.
Anyone that has been opening chests for an alliance, should notice that once 6 guess chests are dropping, that's all that are dropping. The only time you might notice anything different or lower is if you:
A. kill a different type of mob or NM, resetting chain (Definitely resets exp, not sure about the light accumulation theory)
B. Zone, die (?), or have a new member getting killshot
Forgive me if I'm out of place, wrong etc etc whatever. I did my first abyssea alliance xp last night, had to go Coeurls cause the other camps were 'taken' (though in hindsight we should have just gone there anyways)...the first hour we were barely getting any chests, tried blm killshots, and all that. We started to just kill faster, since magic killshot didnt seem to be getting anywhere, and the chests started loading up faster. No moron, not because "DUH YOURE KILLING FASTER", I mean they were loading one every 1-3 mobs instead of every 7-9 mobs, and the quality started to improve as we went on.
Is it not possible that the size of your xp chain has a strong influence on what kind of chests you get?
Is joachim working because i had 2 stones last wednesday and is saturday now and i can only get 2 stones again
Even if i got 2nd stone wednesday as it recharge, thursady 1 , friday 1 and saturday 1 and thats on 24hrs respawn
Anyone found out why you lose time you had stored? yesterday I stored 58 minutes when I went back later in the day it wasn't there.
my guess is emergency maintenences. thats if you didnt get kicked w/o visitant.
also, remember that tractor removes visitant. if you got tractored then left, you lose your saved time.
If you enter Abyssea and have stored time left on Visitant, you need to receive Visitant before you leave or it will be erased.
Think of it this way: it re-records your remaining time on Visitant every time you leave Abyssea, and if you leave without Visitant, it records that time as 0.
On an unrelated note, Visitant keeps ticking while you are dc'd or logged out inside Abyssea.
I think emergency maintenance wipes time also.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't.
Maintenance definitely doesn't...though everyone keeps saying it does, where do people get these ideas without even testing it?
Did all these people who have their time wiped leave through the maw, or warped out? Cause I know the one time I left with time on the clock, was via Maw, and my time remained. Is it also possible that time granted via TE's doesnt carry over?
Time granted with TE's does carry over. i have had it carry over before. However, some ppl are getting their time randomly removed. I have left (with visitation status up) and lost 55min. my husband left right after a awesome pt and when he came back later, his time was not there. It sent in a report to their 'suggestions and feedback' support page, and i suggest others do the same. Hopefully we can get some light shed on why some ppl have been randomly loosing time.
ps: and yes i know leaving when you did not grab visitation status does wipe time. however none of the ppl who i have talked to who had time disappear have done this.
Has anyone timed how long stored time lasts? How long before you went back in? Maybe it will only last a certain amount of time or perhaps week end tallies wipe it.
