From every report I've read since the update you can team up for final blow kills now as long as you're on the same trial.

Does it work if not on same trial? My 2box brd is on 50 earth damage and I am not.. she doesn't have blm/sch etc but I do so.. if I could help her with that then holy shit.

It would seem that it does work. One DRK in my LS with lv80 apoc killshoted a bugard and it counted for another DRK with the lizard trial on lv75 apoc. I don't know the exact requirements for it to count though.

I just ran around Grauberg (S) with two LS mates killing treants for my Indra's +1 with them. No matter who killed we all got credit. This is much win.

Can anyone confirm pet mobs still work? (Or has already and point it out to me? ) Other than relic trials, which I don't personally care about, this seems to be much win.

You know it's funny how things are. Every time someone said that the trials were a bit out of hand there was a bunch of people that would come outta of the woodwork and say the usual. "This shit is easy enough." "What do you want it given to you for nothing?" "QQ more about it being hard." Yet when SE does finally take a step in the right direction to things a bit less of a grind and make this crap more bearable almost everyone is happy. Personally I think this was an excellent tweak but they really could do a little better on certain others relics/mythics, mass creature amounts, and naturally the stupidity of Empyrean weapons. I'm just glad they started with staves because honestly having to do 6+ of these felt like a nightmare before to me.

I'm torn now though boycott the system more and hope they tweak certain ones like the freaking 2500+ mobs that I have to kill with a freaking 44 dam GAX to get the DA GAX.

Pet killing blows count, as long as it's the same kind of pet I assume. LS mate and I both did Yama's staff (-dark perp for dark avatars) newest trial, 250 Sea Monks with fenrir killing blow, as long as Fenrir killed the mob we both got credit from the same mob. I'm assuming it can work with BST pets as long as they are "Jugs" only, and PUP for "Puppets" on the same trial?

I personally found Caedarva Mire better since the saplings and treants are clustered together instead of being spread out. There is also no risk from getting aggro from non-target monsters either.

So, are the 5/1 staves better than HQ elemental staves for BLM?
Jupiter's Staff says its +2 Affinity, but the staffs say +5DAM/1ACC Affinity.
Does that meant HQ elemental staves are +2/2?
