The day polearm is no longer viable, sam is hnm onry job
What would be the suggestedSub job for Pld in Promy Areas? /war or /nin? i'm assuming /nin but not 2 sure![]()
Did u have bard and or cor at 75 at 77 the polearm was doing well again at 75 I partied with about 10 different sams level capped 75 with out bard or Cor and all changed back to GKT cause of sucky damage. Parsed every fight and yep Hagun GKT > polearm in those cases it wasn't close.
4 sams in party with rdm + whm lol using GKT at 75 cleared chain 22 easily using GKT so guess it didnt matter much not one used polearm and chain stopped only because of lack of mobs... I always carry my polearm but if penta isn't breaking 1k+ I switch back to old faithful.
Best lv 80 skill training spot ??
anyone ?
training spot?
like lv 75 even match steel shell at boyahda .. a safety place that you can cap your combat and magic skills.
FoV in Cape Terrigan on manticores (THey're ~79) will get you capped for of course, 79. After that Besieged.
Can also use Wiki's Bestiary page to find a nice, easy mob family and look for mobs in the range of 79~82 which should be easy for you to solo.
Oh and i know im going to get mauled for this one, Greater Colibri are level 81/82, at level 80 with a support healer you should be able to take them easily and cap your skills.
Catoblepas are 76~80
Wamoura Princes (79-81) arn't too bad I think, depends on your job. Though, you need to either wait out blaze spikes or have some form of dispel.
Some Orcs in La Vaule and Jugner [S] go up to like, level 82 I think. Then again, you might be safer fighting quadavs.
Om Phuabo = 79~81.
Eo'Aerns = i forget, 79~80+ though.
Goblins in Bibiki are ~78.
Thats all i can dig up for now =(
The weapons in sky/high level weapons in Ro'Meave are around 80 as well if I recall correctly.
Reports I've heard said Zvahl Fortalices are level 75, so no dice on that one.
I'm personally unsure why skilling up isn't a bigger concern for everyone... With the minimal to nonexistant stat boosts we get from 75-80, I'd say the bulk of our power increase comes from the higher skill levels. Magic is easy enough in besieged, but for weapons you simply need more time... I personally have no idea how to efficiently go about this, but I'd really like to find a surefire way because keeping my weapons capped is almost as important to me as the leveling itself. In an hour in Abyssea I managed to get 1.5 GAxe skill (although the entire hour was not devoted to skilling). This isn't a realistic way of skilling up however because of the always-in-effect time limit...![]()
No one in our group has Morrigan's: I am the only one in the group that can do enough damage without day/weather helping out to kill the Pugils because I have Novio/Sorc Ring. Not everyone is rich or lucky enough to have those items. Leveling a subjob and getting 2 obis is a lot more reasonable to do for a lot of people.
The guide isn't written only for BG, where people have real standards for gear. Unfortunately, there are people who run around thinking a Dark Staff and Wizard's Coat is enough to classify as an "enfeebling set" and that doesn't cut it here. Most of our group has what you would typically expect for an enfeeble set (JSE head/legs, AF body, Pluto's), 3 of our BLMs and our SCH (+relic hands) have full enfeeble merits. Our 4th BLM is missing the head and enfeeble merits, but since he pulls, he doesn't always get his sleep off. We commonly get half resists on the Sea Monks (which is why we now ES+Sleepga II those). Our standby SCH is less consistent and gets full/half resist gravities (only 4 enfeeble merits, no relic hands).
I was in a pt earlier with a sam using a polearm and Kirin's Osode. now that was awesome.
