Twisted Metal 2 was definitely the best of the series. I couldn't get into 3 or 4.. But I bought both. I'm definitely going to be getting this.. I've been asking for a Twisted Metal return for a while now. I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

This new Twisted Metal looks amazing too, so pumped. I honestly forgot all about these games, which is a damn shame.

Agreed that two was by far the best. Three wasn't bad, but not as great. Is to be expected since it was by a different studio. I still played it, just not nearly as much as the others. Then the series went down hill even further. Feel sorry for those I see saying they played only black and is the reason for their hype with this one.

I liked 2 the best.

Black was decent too.

I also loved Vigilante 8 and Rogue Trip were also great vehicle combat titles.

This was one of my favorite games I played at E3. The deathmatch was really great. It definitely felt nostalgic and more like the first two games of the series.

I was a huge fan of 1 and 2 (and Vigilante 8) but I didn't like any of the other Twisted Metal games.

I will be picking this up when it comes out.

Oh god, the snow level with the huge section full of ice blocks after a cave still gives me nightmares. In hindsight it really isn't bad at all, but with 8 year old dexterity that shit was impossibe. Would always come out of the cave going full speed and always miss the turn and fly straight off the glacier haha.

Anyways, I'm pumped for the new Twisted Metal, and glad to see the original team is the one working on it. Hopefully Spectre and Mr. Grimm will be in it.

I still play Twisted Metal 2 with my friends sometimes. That game kicks so much ass - 3 and Black just felt wrong.

Jet Moto 2 was the bomb. Not only did it rock in its own right but it contained all of Jet Moto 1 anyway. I'm normally not a racing gamer but that game kicked ass. Ok, now I want a PS3 remake of Twisted Metal 2 AND a Jet Moto 2 remake.
