Devotion only works on other people. A WHM can't Devotion himself.

The point is, and I hope you get this and really aren't that dumb, that other jobs have natural methods of regaining MP, SJs to regain MP, and gear to regain MP. BLM is missing the first one, as I said. It isn't difficult to understand.

If SE didn't want BLM to use RDM to get MP back they would have moved up Convert so you couldn't get it from subbing RDM.

WHM doesn't have natural refresh. And they don't get Conserve MP either.

In a game with subjobs, "natural" refresh is irrelevant. You make subjob choices based on what you need.

Isn't that what makes jobs different, though? I figured FFXI fans would find homogenization to be a horrible evil thing that only other MMO companies do.

I see your point, absolutely, but I figured that this would be standard fare by now in FFXI. If you want something that another job has, sub that job or switch TO that job instead of hoping that the SE gods rain mana from the heavens and provide your job with that which you seek.

Remember when Drg wanted a body piece that was comparable to E.body back in 2004, when all Drgs had was assault jerkin, AF2, and Scorp. harness? Remember how long it took for that mana to rain down?
