New Bastok Quest Line

Ha, we won! Had our Rdm change to /drk for added stuns, and got like 2-3 stacks of holy water each. That said, I cannot stress this next point enough....
THE SANCTUS ROSARY FROM THE FIRST MISSION PREVENTS DOOM!
I dunno if it's all doom, or just this BC, but it disables his strongest ability, and makes the 2nd stage of this BC so much easier. After that, a final CS in Bastok and Prien gives the Excelsis Ring. The last CS is a pretty cool way to wrap everything up, and I'm glad it's all done now~

Just some final thoughts on the BC:
- When Amon 2hrs (manafront), he becomes immune to stun (we think), so save tp to WS if he -gas then.
- In the first stage, if you engage, the enemy will fight
- In the second stage, you have time to rest before fighting, and have to actually go after him to start it.
- The enemy of the first stage's WS really can shift the battle, but if ya stand opposite the NPC, some of those AoE's won't hit ya.
- I wasn't having a problem hitting the first enemy with Yonin up and sushi, but when I used meat, I noticed I was missing more, so take that into consideration.

Sorry for the much delayed response, but maybe this will help someone in the future. You want it to be so that only one is telling the truth. From my experience, if one says someone is telling the truth, they're probably lying, but I can't say 100%. (Makes sense though since if that one is correct, then it is telling the truth too.)

In your example, A says C is false, B says A is true, and C says A is false. If A was correct, then B would also be true, and for B to say A is always true and be correct, then B also has to be correct. However, if C is true about A being false, then B would also be false, which works, so C is the answer.

When Zeid went on his massacre, it was all orchestrated by Amon, including his comrades getting killed and everything. It was all part of a plan to get him to join the Shadow Lord's army. However, before he could, Klara showed up and saved him. Amon had this orb thing that he tried to infect Zeid with, but Klara destroyed it. Unfortunately, a piece of it went into her body and so Amon was slowly taking control over her.

Anyway, full write up on this last set of missions, our strategies, things we noticed, etc. It pretty much has everything I've said in earlier posts, just condensed into one place, and with pretty pictures. Some of the pictures could be taken to be spoilers though, so just a heads up on that~

Zeid (answered by Captain Volker): I'm not quite sure why he decided to join the unit. But then again, there's a lot I don't know about Zeid. What I can tell you is that he's the first Mythril Musketeer in history that had no previous military experience.

Volker does know why Zeid joined. And he knows Zeid had military experience. But then again, War Cloud is assumed to be dead I imagine.

Just tried it out against tauruses in Phomiuna Aqueducts wearing only the neckpiece -- got doomed, so it seems at the very least, it doesn't provide 100% immunity against doom. Now, unless someone can say otherwise, it seems it only works on the boss. Might provide some resistance, but didn't try again. Also, maybe we got lucky against the boss -- can anyone else say if it provided 100% resistance when they did the BC?

Didn't see it on here or wiki, when Amon draws you in, magical stun will stop the Doom tp move. Haven't fought it on BLU, so I am not sure if head butt will work.

we got 0 doom (thx to you) when we did the last BC.
we got the AoE from Boss multiple times, and we did BC 2 times in a row (we were 7)

I managed to find Windurst and San D'Oria's final missions' videos on Youtube but not Bastok's.
