DnD did it~! But yeah, this game is crazy with its FPS. I've never played a game that runs like... perfectly smooth with 20 FPS. I was rolling through the level 20 PVP zone with 45 and it was just incredible. I can't wait till I get my new mobo and processor; if I can even hit 45 in a rift and 60 elsewhere, I'll be in heaven.
If anything this game reminds me of an awful Aion clone. Guys, the dragons killed us all, and the gods brought us back to life so we can kill the dragons. Herp.
I'm constantly running 18-20 fps in BG's but it's smooth as silk with no stuttering or loading lag of any kind. It's pretty crazy.
Yeah, dunno how they do their engine but its amazing.
Wanting 10 man content has absolutely nothing to do with not being able to find 10 more people. The main concern is having to DEAL with those 10 more people. Why put up filling up 19 slots of non-retards, when you can do the exact same content, and only have to worry about filling up 9 slot of non-retards.
Even better would be if you could do the exact same content and not have to worry about finding anyone!
Because we're not paying to play an online game alone!
I like the 5-10 man instances TERAs going with. I also like the lower 3-6 man instances that were possible in XI, like Limbus, BCs, etc. I hated Dynamis with all those fucking idiots you had to pretend to like to get along with your LS. So if you think about it, having a lower amount of people you can work with it more effective at times than a bunch of idiots with Krakens pressing enter a couple of times, at least for me. But on the other hand, there was something cool about, let's say LK 25 man heroic? It just feels good. I guess if you can make it work, you can do it. The problem is everything so far, it's just adding HP and defense to a mob and not adding any more mechanics, so the fight becomes a zerg or a snooze fest that you would rather do low man.
Your posting is horrible enough to give an aneurysm. You think the game is bad after quitting at level two, no one gives a shit about anything you have to say regardless if they agree with you or not.
Grr..? I think this game is great lol
Double posting this to make a point clear. No one would have been forcing you to do 10 mans. The point was to have 10 and 20 man versions ala WoW. You can feel tough with your internet friends while us competent players with social lives who don't have the time to waste dealing with dead weight in raids did our 10 mans. THAT's the point between 10 and 20 mans. Not being e-popular.
edit: also my other post was to Hyan
Haha, looks like you do give a shit. And all the others who got butthurt about it.
"His opinion was bad, so lets make fun of him!"
I think the game is awful and I'm not going to buy it, but I still played more than level two.
edit: You can't have a god damn opinion by level two. You went in with a preconception and quit without any idea of how the game was to say "you tried it" which is pure bullshit.
Wow, I'm so proud of you.
My criticism was really based on the awful lore and lack of any incentive (for me) to continue playing more than the game itself anyway. I thought the game was still solid from what I saw.
Hyan doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about so trying to understand him is a bit of a fruitless endeavor.
Yes, I know. From what I gather, he's someone who will never be happy in life, because what he expects is much greater than anything that exists.
