I believe apps are closed except for family and friends, but it never hurts to toss one up.

Same; its not like anyone can prove their skill or anything. Most guilds I know at launches simply go friends-only until a few days in, then pick up skilled pubbers.

Same thing can be said about any app at any time. Most of us are from either XI or oldschool EQ so it's all good.

I was so lost until I opened it up on internet explorer.

Also, my preorder code that Gamestop gave me isn't working, says its already been used even though I only just got it -_- Sent them a ticket about it at like 1pm and still no response.

Obviously playing with someone and chatting with them is pretty much the best indicator, but it's never a guarantee of lack of eventual drama. I dunno, maybe FFXI's just made me entirely apathetic of the community group dynamic as it relates responsibility hanging so close to guilt trips or punishment if you don't jump when told. I just wanna play, but at the same, don't wanna feel like I have to be raiding 4+ nights a week or else be SOL. If you pre-ordered through the Trion site then your account should already be flagged for the head-start, you don't need a code.

Yeah i gotcha. I think we have an interesting dynamic going on though. We have hardcores that plan to be 50 in a few days and are going for server first but we also have casuals that may only play 15-20 hours a week. Everyone is treated equal as it's not just a guild to gear up, it's a community. I personally think that's the most important thing.

Works fine for me, i think you may need to allow it in noscript.

i hope that patch notes are put up before head start.....typically when do they have notes up? I could probably understand delaying until like right before a maintenance....but this is release lol. I also hope they put up some kind of place for patches on the main page of the website....hopefully.

Well technically release isn't for a week, but yeah. Notes are usually up on the forum the night before and are usually on Leakerz way before that.

Well, I just purchased and downloaded... waiting for servers to start up. Didn't get to play the beta.. looks nice and I have heard nice things so far about this game. Hopefully it is money well spent

i know, but its hard for me to think this is actually "Head start" and not another beta without some decent patch notes D=.

Same here, been keeping an eye on this game and bought the CE to try it out. Sucks though, since I have exams till march 1st, so I won't be able to play the headstart

I just got done with Finals yesterday with my classes... new class doesn't start till this sunday. Cataclysm was a different story since I had finals during that release @_@ so I know what you are talking about Tonyg

From the looks of it you should. If your computer can play Aion pretty decently, your computer should have no problem with this game.
