Don't know if anyone cares, but lolCanada finally has Video store up and running on PSN.......along with the PS Store icon being back under the XMB's Video section. -.-
(wish I could turn that shit off, won't be much longer before it's back under the Music section also)
Is this the same setup as you guys in the States, with the Video category at the top that shifts the entire screen over to the right to a video-specific section?

I kinda wish they'd do that for separating PS3/PSP games so I can check New Releases without having to scroll through a bunch of crap.
As it stands we only got 44 TV shows to pick from (almost all of them being the most recent season only), and a good backlog of 1252 fucking movies, so I'm assuming a lot of that was carried over from the US store.
Store doesn't seem to bother explaining how their rental process, has anyone used it before? If I ever get an unlimited bandwidth plan and don't feel like pirating, $5 to rent an HD digital copy doesn't sound too bad, but it doesn't explain their terms on renting. I'm *assuming* it sets an expiry date once it's fully downloaded and installed to your HD, rather than the period of paying for the rental on the store, or else those of us with slow net connections get fucked over.
Fuck their prices on owning movies though, I'll just go to the store and get a physical copy for the same, or a few bucks less. Damn companies need to get their heads out of their butts and not be afraid of retail corporations disliking them providing a product for cheaper because it actually costs less to deliver it in that medium.
Also, for any fellow Canucks that gives a crap, Sony is offering a free SD copy of Charlie's Angels (lol) for those who visit the store within the next couple weeks and will e-mail your PSN address with a code for it. ;/
Granted, I wonder if this means I'll be paying in Canadian dollars now for the store overall as I recall them charging me American currency under the games section of the store.
