That's brilliant. Beginning is like the old Monty Python sketch where they go to an island for broadcast journalists.

Well, yes, it's in direct reference to the Monty Python skit.
But back to the show: I was really quite surprised at Hammond's mexican diatribe.
Usually, he doesnt dare go that far.
Remember that Stig sketch? Where they are breeding new Stigs? That was in reference to this/the monty python skit. I love Harry Enfield, lol.
who is the guy who came up w/ this and why hasn't he been a guest on the show?
Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse are very popular in the UK, but not outside of it. They're comedians and go back decades now.
Their best ever sketch making fun out of the old service announcements:
Still makes me laugh to this day.
Clarkson Island was funnier to me lol
getting fucking tired of spending 5hrs watching my HD torrent slowly finish...
He has, they even talked about the skit/showed it during the interview.
Hell, it was only two years ago. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...#Series_Twelve
(In additional trivia, Harry Enfield was the very first guest on the relaunched Top Gear back in 2002)
wow can't believe I forgot that episode lol.
Watching the latest ep now, fucking lol at the Aussie vs Brit car line-up, then having the Aussies arrive in a prisoner transport van.
Well, to be fair, the Blackpool race kind of eclipsed everything else that episode.
The Jag that just wouldn't die.
Ugh still 1.11/1.45gb on my torrent![]()
It'll be overshadowed by anything Clarkson may say in the next couple weeks about what's going on in the middle east.
I loved the Harry Enfield interview because they spent so long talking about how to do the best Jeremy Clarkson impersonation...
In the world!
But yeah the Blackpool race total overshadowed it since it was so unbelievable that they were able to make that drive on one tank of gas, especially the Jag.
Oh man.
Shtig.
Finally got around to watching it.
I just lost it with the Jag van.
I think it was just a perfect episode all around (segments, news, interview, etc.), they should have opened with it instead. Also, the levels of butthurt about the mexican jokes are amazing. It's as if these people don't actually watch Top Gear and thus don't understand that they rag on everybody, white people of all nationalities included.
Which reminds me, more BBC comedians making fun of Top Gear & self deprecating humor.
