So I'm about to try to sell my set of 4 Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tires. Very, very slightly used. Great condition. They're 17" and were for my Lexus and serve me no good now. Any recommendations on where / how to sell them and what to ask for?

Always had good luck with Craigslist in my area, not sure what they're worth but usually you'll want to deduct a lot for the sheer fact that their used. However, you'll probably still be able to get 400-500, if not more. I'd just start higher than lower and put "obo" (or best offer) and see if you get any bites, and lower from there if need be.

your sucking in nothing but hot air with that air filter. you should look into placing the filter somewhere lower or inside your fender well area. extend the tubing to get it as close to colder air as possible without it being in danger of too much water splash.

K&N, or exposed element air filters are only beneficial if your engine can suck up cold air, which is denser and heavier than hot air.

it looks good but its not gonna do ya much good if its only getting the hot air from in your engine bay.

Well I'm not sure of their exact worth, but I looked em up and it looked like they were pretty high end (200+ a piece), so unless you need to get rid of them in like a day or two start high and work your way down. At least that's how I've done it with car parts. Started at 300 w/ some stocker wheels from my Impreza and ended up getting 250, so yeah.

He has a 06 or a 07 Subaru wrx, that year has a decent sized hoodscoop so he should have any problem with cold air free flowing under the hood.

just make sure ya clean that air filter, and do it properly by passing water through the inside out. and oil it down after you clean it.

Ah damn, they wont fit my rims. Last I checked I'm running 195/45. =/ But I'll check around, maybe someone I know is looking for tires.

I've got an off the shelf map from cobb at the moment, but i've got an appointment with the local import tuner guy for the 29th. I'm going to cut and put back on the stock air scoop for my car, and get the SPT heat shield to help even more. Spent all of last thursday putting on uppipe/downpipe. Pics will be uploaded when I can find my camera.
