Just passed the 200k mile mark on my 99 Cherokee. Only car I've ever owned and still going strong aside from the busted AC (but hey, that's what windows are for)

Suzuki was a bust. What was supposed to be a "coolant leak", was actually a complete lack of any form of Head Gasket what so ever. I've never seen a car billow so much white smoke in my life lol.
I passed on it needless to say. The search continues.
Did I do good?! (on the price that is. inb4 lol soccer mom car)
Brand new blue 2014 Rogue SV with family package (third row) for $25350.
I wanted a red one sooo badly but apparently they don't exist in LA with the third row.
Also, I could have gotten it cheaper but my mom fucked up my game at the end. She helped with our pay off for my versa though so I can't hate.
Nissan Rogue is a good car so props for that but SUV.... diaf
How many kids do you have?
why not an 11 seat full size van?
just buy an old school bus so your vag can go full clown-car
It's not even a full size SUV lol. Not bad on the price I think. I paid 28k for my wife's, but that was fully loaded. (No 3rd seat as an option wasn't available the last model year)
I love the Rogue for my wife. Enough space for the coming baby and both dogs without being overly huge. I've hauled some decent sized shit home from home depot/lowe's in it as well. The interior was nicer than any other car we test drove in it's class as well. (CRV, Tuscon, Kia Sportage(I think), Equinox, etc.)
I drive this because my employer offered me this (since they had one and it was not being used). At first I didn't like it because I was used to small vehicles which are fun to drive, but then I realized I could use this to go mountainbiking wherever I want so now I do that and I love the space I have.
It's still not fun to drive, taking a turn you really feel the bulkiness of the car. It was so strange feeling my girlfriend's tiny car react so fast to my input that I stalled it twice.
I wish we had European cars in the states. Would love a Renault Clio...
Focus RS please >_<;;
Ya it's kinda funny how it happened. We really wanted a bigger car, and have kinda been researching for months on what we wanted. But as I said the value on the versa was lower than what we owed, so we wanted to wait until it either was evened out or paid off (had about two more years left on the financing). My mom is visiting for the summer and she bought my daughter a toddler bed and a toy shelf. She knew that hubby and I were thinking about getting a bigger car and when she saw the tetris I had to go through to get those in the car with a stroller she was like, "NOPE, I AM PAYING THE DIFFERENCE AND YOU ARE GETTING A CAR," rofl.
The rogue was really the one we had been eyeing for awhile. Only other thing we could afford would be like a pre-owned Quest, but honestly I am now addicted to having brand new cars. (No way could we afford a new minivan though).
Funny enough on the price. I put in my ideal car through truecar.com and for my ideal car it would have been 26,202. This car was valued at ~28k (forget the exact). I only showed the guy the ideal one though and he took it on that price (and reduced further because this one didn't have a moonroof).
He seemed rather puzzled the whole time about truecar's number, but it never occurred to him to look at the value of the actual car. His loss!
I guess I forgot to post this. I got this in May. I fucking love it. It is one of the only real RWD sports car coupes in the US right now.
I sold my IS300 for it, so when the babies come they are going in Mommie's car.![]()
