You have some time with the FR-S. New miatas won't be released until next summer.

I think it looks fucking tight. I can't wait to see what they do for a drivetrain. I would like to see the 184HP mill from the current 3 as the base. Pair it with a proper 6 speed and the ~200lb weight savings people are throwing around and you'll have a fantastic MX-5. Assuming of course they can squeeze in the extra half liter...
Yeah.... I don't know about that power plant. They did already say it would have a 6 Speed Gear Box. Almost everyone is saying a performance tuned Sky Active 2.0 from the CX-5 will more than likely be the engine. Using the redline of 7500 RPM from the press photos that would put it in the 175-185 HP range. Mazda will be releasing two engine options, but the smaller 1.3 liter will more than likely be Euro/Asia only.
2.5 Liter Duratech/MZR Swaps are becoming more and more popular on the 3rd Gen (NC) Miata, so I personally hope they start off with a 2.5 Sky Active right off the bat.
It seems when the car goes on sale next summer there will only be a soft top version. The power hard top will be another model year out.
Being a huge Mazda guy I'm happy at the responses so far to the new miata, both here and across the internet as a whole. Mazda really wanted to bring in the younger crowd with this model, and I think they did the right job attracting that 18-35 year old audience pretty well.
Drove a 2015 STI today. Was pretty gnarly. I enjoyed it. Buying a WRX here within the next two weeks. Will post pics :3
A Miata that doesn't look like a hotdog mated with a bar of soap? What the hell happened? I'm double checking that there isn't some severe shenanigans going on, like it's FWD or something.
Since I have over a quarter dozen kids and can't get a cool Fr-S, I traded my Elantra and bought more appropriate transport.
I really love the look of the new Explorers.
So you are one of those assholes that drive a cop car
They are light blue and navy blue near me, but at night they all look the same. There is this old guy who lives on a busy street who bought a shell of a crown vic. He puts it on his lawn so people slow down when they drive by his neighborhood thinking it is a cop car.
I had a friend who had one of those white crown vics who used to sit in his car in his own yard pointing a hairdryer at people as they drove by. Highly illegal but he didn't give a shit. It was apparently hours of entertainment.
Around here is all Taurus and Explorer. They are all navy blue and/or black.
A good number of the cop cars around here are Impalas.
Though we really still have the majority of cops rolling around in Crown Vics.
All my municipality are the newest chargers, the nearest other city is crown vics and one camry(lol).
