Subaru Solterra is about to hit for $20k less and is a pure electric AWD SUV from a safety minded company.

Neat but it's only a 5 seater, the point is getting the third row.

The only cheaper 3rd row plugin vehicle is the Chrysler Pacifica PHEV minivan. Even the cheapest Tesla Model Y with 7 seats (and those two back seats are a tiny joke) is more than the XC90 now after the tax credit.

GF's Chevy HHR threw a timing belt and bent the fucking valves. So now gonna drive up to Chevy dealership and look at a Bolt EUV tomorrow. The 2022 are marked down same as the 2023 markdown at most dealers and since the batteries got changed out with the recall figure at $27k-$30k price range can't be too bad. Only issue is their credit being pretty middle of the pack so APR will most likely be up there. Though refinancing 2yrs from now after some payments will probably do wonders.

Oh I plan on it, I could potentially pay cash for it if I wanted with how low the price is but rather gf finance it just to build up their credit. Not paying for any of their "extras". I paid the $900 extra on my Ioniq for the GPS security just because $900 wasn't a bad markup for it and the next closest one would have been upstate NY and a drive back to CA so well worth $900. I knew it was bullshit, but still hilarious when they tell you it could help lower insurance and literally no insurance agency gives a fuck about GPS security.

So Bolts are apparently still pretty hard to score, went to 3 dealerships yesterday and talked to about 5 more all around SoCal and none have any that are ready to be sold. Tons and tons sitting on lot waiting for new batteries though, fucking shame.

Almost all insurance policies have a windshield repair covered (At least in my state). I pay a 100-dollar deductible, and they give you a list of places to call. Most of these places will come to your home or work and do it without you having to be there at all.

Guess I'll ask here as Gad is MIA. Anyone have a recommendation for all weather tires? I don't need anything fancy as I'm currently Work From Home 3 days a week, and even if I was to go back into the office, that would only add less than 40 miles a week to my current driving. Only driving about 10k miles a year, and my car currently has 185k miles on it (thanks uber) so I don't forsee myself having this car for more than 3-5 years if I can swing it, so doubt I need anything with an 80k tread life guarantee.

Car is a 4 cyl 2015 Acura TLX

If you want a good affordable set of tires that is also a quality product I highly recommend Sumitomo All Season tires. They are one of the oldest rubber manufacturers in the world (1919) and make tires for other brands. I have a set of their AS that I've had several years now and have been super surprised how well they have held up.

I think these will fit your car and have a 65k tread warranty. Make sure though.
