is Wyrm+1 build vs full Perle. Make it +3% Haste for Wyrm Mail+1 build if Dusk Gloves +1 and 19.5acc/35.5atk for the Perle. You're going to need to be acc capped and have a LOT of Haste (zerg-level Haste buffs required) for the Wyrm+1 build to win unless you are Attack capped.

Well yah, new gear can win. My point is mainly that full Perle outperforms any of the old TP sets for Dragoon - any of them, unless in special situations.

Well, it isn't just 3% Haste vs (other crap). It's 3% Haste vs DEX14 Acc15.5 STR22 Atk41.5 Critrate+2%. You can extend it as far as saying since you are capping acc with Wyrm+1, you can use Forager's Mantle and Aesir Earring instead of Cuchulain's/Assault and widen the Attack gap further. Thew Bomblet over Black Tathlum perhaps. In the odd situation, could even support Red Curry with capped acc and no sacrifice with Perle set.

Dusk Gloves vs other gloves is not a hard choice. I think picking Dusk Gloves vs a Hand piece which gave STR25+ Atk50+ Crit rate+2% and other stuff would be a MUCH harder choice, and the Haste is only going to win if you're zerg buffed.

Full Perle really is incredible for DRG.

As a general rule, anyone who publicly calls for a site to return to the way it used to be is either me-tooing with people who were around back then, or misremembering the way it used to be through nostalgia filter.

They also, to a nearly complete majority, dramatically overestimate the differences between then and now. BG is no different in any of these areas than any other site.

Also: Terra staff is not a very good DRG weapon, please use a spear of some sort.
