2-3 acc, 2-3 atk fstr+1 beats 1 haste in many low haste, low acc situations. It generally shouldn't win, as it requires things like low acc, and no haste buffs, but sometimes it does. It's also good for RC builds, depending on gear, if you have extra haste, but can't drop 2-3 in other slots.

Seriously, askar head may be incredibly situational, but every so often it does win.

It's not like you need capped acc for turban to win. Isn't the cut-off point something like 80% acc, unbuffed (meaning no haste/march/samba)? That's pretty pathetic really.

At 20% haste, and 80% hit rate, 2 acc is aprox equal to 1 haste (haste wins slightly of course), but askar also has 4 str, which gives fstr+1 (unless it's already capped), and atk +2 (for 1h weapons). For 1H with 20% haste, turban would win above aprox 82-85% hit rate, depending on tp:ws split. For 2h, at 20% haste, the 3 acc is going to beat 1% haste, unless your acc is capped, and that doens't even account for the 4 str. 24% haste, and 93.5% hit rate still goes to askar by a fairly large margin.

Seriously, if you aren't capping accuracy, you're doing something wrong. With full Perle existing now also, Askar has even less uses than it had before. If you Byakkos, you should have the gear to make haste better. If you don't, use full Perle and fuck the Askar BS.

80% hitrate is a retarded concept. If you're at 80% pre food, use a Pizza instead of meat. If you're at 80% with Pizza, you should be using sushi not Pizza. If you're at 80% with sushi, WTF are you fighting?

Mix and Match Haste (Assuming Byakkos Job) > Perle > Mix and Match without even maxing haste. Period. If you're on a non-Byakkos job, full Perle gives same haste as the best other Turban setup, so why the fuck would you even consider Askar head.
