tier1 nukes are still useful at 75+, for nuking down mobs at 1-3%

I still use teir II to finish mobs sometimes, but either way, he Astral Burned his BLM to 75, and most likely RDM too. I'm not really upset that he did it so easily, just that AB allows things like this to happen, without any work.

Also, yes he did miss the Warp scroll.

Let me change that, confused. It's a bit pathetic in my opinion that people still use Astral Burns to level a job to 75. I'll admit, I've done it to get a job to 37/40, but I wouldn't do it for a 75, I'd prefer to actually work for my accomplishments, and it's things like that, that make me wonder why people even play the game.

Leveling a job to 75+ is an accomplishment now? Since when? Leveling is a grind, that we do so we can enjoy other things in the game that require a high level, and very few of us enjoy it, so why the fuck would we purposely take longer than we need to doing it?

Edit: I don't really care if people summoner burn, or think leveling to 75 "the real way" is the best way to do it. I just find it funny that anyone who thinks the guy is dumb or are generally unimpressed by this are jealous in some way. It's not like it hasn't been done before and its not like summonering burning is some big secret.

You realize that smn burning+skilling up takes, like less than half the time than to level up getting 1/4 the exp/hr, and skilling up while you level, yes?

I remember when i thought getting 75 was an accomplishment. Back in 2004.

Eh I look at it like different people find different things as fun. Some people liked using a gameshark to level to 99 in one fight on old FF's and just plow through just for story purpose, same could be said with AB. I like leveling and seeing myself progress like that, I've never AB'd a job aside from SMN for merits because it isn't fun to me, but its different for everyone.
