Looking for good F2P MMO

Played LOCO in their Closed Beta and have been waiting for their Open Beta, really really fun game.

Yeah, I can't get in to DotA shit (haven't tried LoL, but disliking DotA and HoN is probably a sure sign I'd dislike it too). I love the concept but I just hate that RTS clickan gameplay, this is a ton more fun to me and I am enjoying it. Lots of terrible people playing though, but lately I've just been grouping up with any good players I come across so I don't have to deal with getting stomped with 4 shitty teammates. Ton more fun this way, even though I still end up upgrading the base by myself out of habit. Gotta love playing a "carry" character with no money.

IGN is Pachi. I have Irene and Stella but I played Stella for literally 5 minutes and realized I had none of her good skills unlocked and (at the time) no skill scrolls. Tempted to pick up some kind of ranged hero, Minity is tempting, Puppetshow is so ridiculous. Almost lost to a crappy team once because some Minity kept sneaking in to our base and taking out bases with that crap, has way too much health. I love late game Irene too much to even want to switch too much at this point though. I was grouped up with a dude playing Octavian earlier and it was fucking ridiculous, if we both bought def items and rolled up to their base they couldn't do a damn thing to us. Irene and him are both walking walls.

Edit: Damn, nice sword. Most of the stuff I find is level 1 or 5 which ends up being pretty worthless. Can't seem to find any level 9/13 stuff worth a damn and actually getting to level 17 is a rarity.

In case you don't know how:

Go to shop pick an item thick click one of the small icons in the right bottom corner. Should say "Produce" or "Special Produce". And it gives you pretty good stats on your items.

Ah. Yeah I haven't bothered with producing stuff yet, although I have some pretty nice items to produce stuff with stats. I need to hit Vanguard rank so I can get mah pimp level 1 token set that I'll see for a whole 3 minutes of each match.

You get lv1 token set at vanguard? wat

You can't trade in your tokens until you hit Vanguard. I can go in to the menu and see the equipment but if you try to get it it just tells you your grade is too low. Gotta be Vanguard to get it. Also got this last game, too big a pussy to upgrade it further since past +4 it can break lol.

You can't trade in your tokens until you hit Vanguard. I can go in to the menu and see the equipment but if you try to get it it just tells you your grade is too low. Gotta be Vanguard to get it. Also got this last game, too big a pussy to upgrade it further since past +4 it can break lol.

Yeah, they blocked market use and token armour til Vanguard for whatever reason. I guess the first is to stop people flooding it, but it's still silly. Last 2 ranks in Advanced take forever. Only gonna get worse too!

Or to stop RMT, which I'm okay with. Also, think my favorite part they added is the ability to drop people who join with red faces regardless if you're room leader or not. I kick them soon as I see red.

I had a game on Crimson Plains yesterday where a group of 2 red faces joined, both of em landed on my team. They both quit after getting killed by towers and I ended up stomping all 3 of the enemy team twice in a row, they all quit at that point and I just had to wreck the enemy base solo, lol. That's actually where I got that 3 slot chest piece from too. Next time I will just stick with forest map.

I jumped into this game as well, and my bf is currently downloading it. Picked up Irene and Foxlady so far for a healer and a melee attacker. Not sure if I should go for a ranged attacker or an initiator now though for the 3rd hero.

edit: Wow I am finding it extremely hard to play a game with my bf. We do "play with friends" but it always puts us on the opposite teams. Kinda frustrating.

It's pretty much the same thing as retail, only free. I personally play on http://gamezaion.com/, it's a high rate PVP server. Takes only a few hours to hit max level, but all people do is PVP all day.

Also, has anyone checked out Forsaken World yet? It's from Perfect World and it's supposed to be in beta now i think. I wasn't really a fan of PWI or anything but this looks semi ok i guess.

I signed up for gamez around midnight last night and sitting at lv25 asmo ass currently. I don't mind the high xp rate but I would at least like to get some better weapons.

I haven't gotten my Forsaken World key yet so I can't say. I saw gamespot's E3 live floor coverage show a sample of it ,before they went somewhere else, and it looked alright.

I used level 25 weapons all the way to 50 since leveling is so fast, no one has time to farm up and gear and toss it on the broker. You pretty much just go straight to Anuhart gear and Tahabata weapons from the junk you have now.
