As far as PSN goes, Canada is only just now getting Video-related material on their store, starting July 1st. Prior to that, the only good PSN was for is PS3/PSP related material.
Got annoying getting Sony ads (I opted in) in my mail promoting stuff that wasn't even available in my store.

good job Hulu, so instead of $120 a year now its $170
lol, requiring PSN+ is just crazy. Netflix doesn't require PSN+ so why should Hulu+?
Hulu hasn't been working so great for me lately on pc, not to mention they have nearly doubled their ads.
This plus the fact that paying the sub fee still gives you ads is a turn off for me.
fixed for updated accuracy :D
I used Hulu a few times, and never really saw what was so good about it. I couldn't full screen it on my 2nd monitor while doing something else, because the second I clicked somewhere it would un-full screen it.
Don't really care for this, also, the ads sucked, fuck that shit. I watch stuff on my computer so that i dont have to watch commercials. (And so that I can watch whenever I want)

Watch the video.
It actually... looks pretty good, interface is pretty slick. Easy to change the bandwidth, minimize/maximize screen. I'm thinking this is looking like it will be a decent compliment to Netflix. I absolutely adore Netflix and use it all the time, but one thing I wished it had was a bigger selection of stream-able shows.
I hope they release a full listing of shows available on this when it gets a public release so I can decide if I will be getting this. Oh, and if you're a Playstation Plus member, you can download the Hulu+ app right now from the PS+ section on the PS store, it has a few free shows up to demo it if you aren't a subscriber to Hulu+.
The minimizing feature was a nice touch. Wonder if it supports the bluray remote properly also.
I have to say that I'm starting to wish cable/satellite TV had a count-down timer for ads given nearly every streamed video advertisement on the net does. ;/
IDK if true or making an excuse as to why it's taking longer, but that's what he said. It's on iPhone and iPad too right now too. Maybe a disagreement with Microsoft ended up getting it delayed? Not sure.
Not sure what 'customized experience' is meant to mean, but right now that interface seems pretty awesome and don't think it needs to be customized at all.
I wouldn't be surprised if 'customized experience' meant shit like party-chatting up with your buddies and all joining in on a Hulu+ session to stream a show at the same time and watch that shit together....assuming they're all paying for it on top of their gold subscription.
