Getting the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE tomorrow. Excited.
I've been with windows phones since... well the begining of time. Sick of the lack of support, and my HTC Arrive is pooping out on me.

I thought about waiting, I really did. But the way I figured. Ill get an Android phone, and if the windows mobile platform starts to not suck, well my inventory slot for a tablet is still open...
Android/ios = proven good, stable and tons of devs.
Outside of being a past dev for Windows phone I really can not find a reason to wait for a phone OS that has failed in recent years to deliver and has even shot their early adopters.
Samsung ordered to pay apple $1.05 billion.

Not a bad deal. Pay and stay in business.
Yup
lol they will not pay that much. some will get overturned.
court of appeals
Don't think that one will stick
Since the lawsuit focused mostly on older phones, I only see phones that are currently in that free - $50 range being affected. Some of the Galaxy S 2 models that are already being phased out are the likely bans to happen. Jury didn't find the Galaxy Tab guilty of infringement, so I don't expect any tablets to be banned. (kinda laughed at that one, as I personally thought the original Tab was the biggest culprit on copying.)
Seems using chrome will stop this till it its fixed.
Thanks for the heads up this needs fixing asap...
All browsers are vulnerable at least on samsung galaxy 2 running ICS or GB
Wow this thread got burried.
Verizon is getting too expensive, and work now offers me a 17% discount through att; so time to switch! Sucks I missed the black friday sale, but any one know a way to find out what they'll be doing in ways of a christmas sale? if anything? I'll probably get a Galaxy S3, unless there is talk of something better coming out within 1-3 month.
Nexus4?
I forgot that even existed :3
On AT&T your best options are Note II, HTC One X+, SIII, Nexus 4 (not directly available on AT&T) and iPhone 5. These are in no specific order. It's all in which one has the things you want.
Question.
So my mytouch was the first android phone I've ever had. I then switched to a GS2, which sadly, I broke...-.-; first time dropping it. I went to my husband's n1 for the time being. anyway, with both the nexus and the samsung I was always hanging up on people or muting them or some shit. Went back to my mytouch for a short period and realized why. The screen layout is different when it comes to calls on the mytouch.
For it, it has a tab on the bottom that you scroll up to open the menu, where the s2 and n1 have all the menu buttons already on the screen so I'm hitting them with my cheek.
tl;dr, anyone know of a good app or something that I could do to change the phone screen, if possible to something similar to the mytouch one? I really liked that one and had no issues with it.
closest pic I could find of what I'm talking about:

see the tab on the bottom of the screen in the center? You would scroll it up and have the options to open the keypad, hang up, mute, speaker, etc.
