Nigga you took too damn long, and or I asked in that post after this one.

Is a good website that posts some of the popular apks. Usually uploads a couple of new ones a day.
FFFFFUUUUUUUU. Just barely lost a Samsung Epic 4G at the Engadget Show. Winner was 368 and sitting right next to us... Friend (365) and I (364). ;____;
Sorry needed to vent. lol
Anyways, for people looking forward to the T-Mobile G2... Spoke to a friend at a T-Mo branch and got a date of 9/29 from the computers there. :O
Droid X runs great on 2.2 for me, about 250-300+ improvement in Quadrant. I have no complaints, I've never experienced slugishness after Froyo. I don't run ATK, I let the OS do all the memory management and it does a superb job.
Froyo: After restart start up and initial kill.

2.1: just restarted and initial kill

I have no idea why that happens... I only use task killer for start up because I haven't configured... I think it was autostarts and another memory managing app. No matter what I did in froyo I could never get the memory above 180.
In an unrelated note, I think I may have gotten aweso-battery. I'd say I used it fairly average the past few days, listened to more music than normal was on the browser during class and everything, but I got it to do 1 day 7 hours, and it was @30% when I put it on charger last night/this morning.
Edit: Oh and when I did quadrant the VERY first time on froyo It in between Shadow and Nexus, I was quite disappointed. Restarted it again and it only did slightly above nexus. Ran it just now and I got a.... 1265, just barely below nexus on 2.2
I find it funny that HTC took out the option to use stock Android launcher/homescreen in one of there updates, and a Qik update broke the launcher and incidentally put the option back in...
That's really weird, I don't used ATK on 2.2 when I did though after initial kill I had like 220ish available memory. My quadrant scores now without ATK are actually better than when I would kill apps, I get an average of 1400 with 1516 being the highest so far.
I'd unroot, flash back to .604 sbf and install Froyo fresh. That's what I did and it runs great.
Official CM6 is now available. 50000 downloads so far. :O
Best version yet. <3
Supported devices for 6.0:
Nexus One
Motorola Droid
HTC EVO
HTC Desire
HTC Incredible
HTC Hero (GSM/CDMA)
HTC Dream
HTC Magic
HTC Aria
MT3G Slide
Nah I'm done fucking with my phone for now. I already flashed it back, and had to reconfigure my phone from scratch for the 5th~ time. I'll wait for official Froyo release, shouldn't be more than 2 weeks away, and I don't want to have to flash that shit again to get the official release. On that note, what exactly is JIT, since I know the leaked froyo didn't contain it, but apparently it's the main driving factor of better quadrant scores. I mean if you look at all the phones with froyo, they pretty much double their quadrant scores while the Droid x goes up only 300~ points. In addition to this, what is Droid 2's quadrant score w/ 2.2?
Edit: 1 more thing, how do I/how useful is overclocking the phone?
Here's a guide to undervolting and OCing

Droid 2 benchmarks

I'll post more later, posting between SC2 matches atm lol
Oh and is there something wrong with my droid x? When running the benchmark, it rarely gets above 25fps, and drops down to 10~15 for the DNA and moons...
Sounds about right, I just ran quadrant on my X.
First test was like 16FPS on that yellow screen thing. Corridor was I'd say 25 average, maxed to like 62 in one hallway for sec. The planet was only like 11 lol and DNA was 18.
What are you getting on Neocore?
Speaking of the Epic 4G, Amazon has a great deal going on for it right now:

Just ran it, 43.3
New google voice is here.

I need some advice.
The epic is coming out tomorrow, and I want it, problem is idk how to go about getting it.
I think I'll wait a few days for prices to drop, but amazon doesn't offer contract renewals with sprint for whatever reason, which just leaves wirefly I think, or maybe bestbuy or radioshack, idk.
Also what kind of info will I need to activate it or whatever? idk, so lost hereI might just go to the sprint store and shell out the $350 and wait for the mail in rebate.. -_-
Using the Sprint website or going to the store tomorrow is probably best bet.
Depends.....are you doing the 1 year upgrade, or 2 year upgrade?
If it's a 2 year upgrade, go do it st bestbuy tomorrow. They give instant rebates instead of mail in ones, so you can get the phone for $250.
If your doing your 1 year upgrade....bestbuy doesn't support that.
Evos on my Verizon?! It's more likely than you think!
