    1.1ghz, and 34vsel. Been stable for 5 days. I tried 1.15ghz but I couldn't get it stable at <50vsel so I decided I wanted the better battery life rather than minimal speed increase. I posted, my quadrant scores up above, as far as battery life... Haven't been using it really the past few days but I'm @40% battery, 1 day, 21 hours. Edit: I think I'm gonna try using live wallpapers again because they are so shiny :3

    If the wireless tethering still does not work, then you can use PDANet and tether of your MicroUSB to USB connection. You need to give some more error / information to understand why the wireless isn't working. PDANet free edition is on the Android market (as well as the paid version.) Also, what wireless tethering application are you using? (Both for Ragnell and Roy.)

    Also I uploaded the .apk to my mediafire for this so I hope you all enjoy:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?uqa115lqyjgymhi

    The application is called Applanet. It basically functions as second Android market. The market consists of many of the paid applications (Beautiful Widgets, Remote Desktop, Battery applications, wallpapers, etc) all for free. Just find the application you want, hit install and you are good to go.

    Enjoy all.

    Edit: I didn't make this app, someone linked me to it and I just hosted it.

    Awesome, that app found all the apps I had already downloaded by just grabbing an apk and installing it on my phone, and updated it for me :D

    Because downloading .apks from the internet isn't in the first place? Also, after browsing through the paid apps on that secondary market, there's tons of porn things lol. and a gaydar.

    You did an over the air update? >.>

    This is why you should always make a back up of a working rom. best bet if no one on this forum nos what to do is to hit up this one. I have no clue how easy root works so I dont want to tell you to do something via the bootloader and mess it up more.

    As stated a few posts up, I have a Droid Incredible heading my way soon... and I just was hoping to hear from a few of you that have rooted your Droids. Why? What is the one main reason (or handful of them) that you decided to root? In my case, my company is footing the bill on this one so rooting seems a bit stupid, especially since i largely just like to have custom themes/icons/feels to my various devices and that can be accomplished without rooting. Is it to rid the bloat? Tethering? I am just very curious...

    Thanks. I can't wait for Tapatalk =)

    Overclocking/undervolting, certain apps can't be run without rooting (like ones that take picture of your phone's screen), wireless tether.

    Hi phone people. I have a question about where to find some info for my original Droid.

    I used to be able to just get my corporate email with a regular, non-corporate account from Verizon. But my company has gotten wise to what we were doing, and they've implemented an Exchange policy. So now I need to either a) pay more per month for the corporate data plan thingee and use something like Good Messaging, or b) use the stock version of Exchange and use a device password. They've set the Exchange/device password policy as such that I need to use a really complicated password, each and every time I access ANYTHING on my phone. As you can imagine, this is a dickpunch. So much so that I've basically given up on getting my work email. Entering some 12 digit password every time I want to send a txt message is for the birds.

    But I figure somebody has to have developed a workaround for it. I've tried poking around on various forums, looking for solutions. I haven't had much luck. Does anyone have any advice on what to try, or what good forums/threads I should check?

    setcpu
    custom roms
    2.1 update(when it was not pushed for months later)
    2.2 update(again took months longer for OTA)
    wifi teathering - big for me
    custom boot( ~_~ I have R2D2 right now lol) - fun ~_~
    rom manager -BIG DEAL
    adfree- big deal
    webkey (fun program that some might use)

    the list goes on and on really.

    tho you dont always need to root the phone, many custom roms need root for their full functions to work. Think that there is even a few Lights that need root?

    WARING: DO NOT USE THIS ROM UNLESS YOU NO WHAT YOU ARE DOING. IT TAKES A LOT TO GET WORKING AND MUCH OF THE BACKBONE OF THE PHONE STILL DOES NOT WORK, IT IS A TOY THAT IS IT. v0.000000007 is the build version lol. that should give you an idea of how many bugs are in the thing ~_~;

    jamezelle is getting very close to getting sense 2.2 UI booted on the droid(well it does boot up buy lot of stuff is not working) . ^^ I can not wait! I played around for a short time with it but it still has way to many bugs to keep it as a full time rom. Still cool to see that the phone works(sometimes) and you can use WIFI now. I would not aim to put the rom on your droid unless you really do understand what you are doing ~_~;

    At this point it is just a toy to play around with as data does not work yet(no 3g) sms does work tho. If you like how it looks might want to keep an eye on it, its moving along fast.... He has done all that work in less then 4 months. Tho he did have some of the work done beforehand from a group of people that failed at the port lol.

    Does anyone that uses LauncherPro Plus know how the hell i can get the dock to only show 3 icons?

    EDIT: Yeah... nevermind. Figured it out after a bit of messing around. App recommendations? Any that may not be on the front page? I have been messing around with my Incredible all day. Love it. Got the 2150 battery and really need to mod a case though, thing is huge and ugly as hell!
