My sisters verizon upgrade is next month, any suggestions for an android device? She loves my iPhone, and does want one, however with the market the way it is I think she'd be better off with a verizon non-iphone.

Verizon iPhone supposedly announced in 6 hours, even i'd wait til summer for the "better" one to come out

Dual cores and such will be out in a few months. If you have to get a item now, get a D2G,DX, Or if she likes the iphone get that.

Anyone here flashing crackflashers cm7 source builds having issues with the sound settings menu (Settings > Sound) force closing or is it just me?

Anyone's got an Android Tablet? Shop near my place is selling the Archos 7 (including the v2s) & 8 for 60-100€ but the specs are lol, though for that price...

I should probably wait for new dual-core tablets :/

Not only that, but verizon droid devices coming out should be compatible with 4g LTE so that's a + if you live in a 4g area.

It's going on eBay, VAT has been raised on all mobile plans here which made all contracts void allowing everyone to jump ship before end of contract <3 90€ iPhone and I'm actually going to save money on my bill compared to my previous carrier.

Had the same issue with my evo, a way around it to at least set ur ringtone is use some shit like ring droid. but i ended up going back to a fresh rom. As much as people hate Sense there are little things I cant let go of, like the people app and the camera app looks better than shitty stock

For anyone that is every on the fence between ADW Launcher and Launcher Pro, i think today's update of Launcher Pro just tipped the scales in its favor.

Just updated and the transitions are pretty great. Maybe not for everyone, but they are very smooth and look quite nice. I have never used ADW though, and am already biased towards LP.

I've used both and I always preferred the smoothness of LauncherPro Plus over ADWLauncher. LPP is just so much snappier even on default settings, its slightly noticeable when sliding homescreens but you see the difference immediately when you open the app drawer.

Since I'm using CM7 nightlies I'm just sticking it out with ADWLauncher till I wont have to install a new ROM every night. I'm going back to LauncherPro Plus during RC1 or 2.

This new feature definitely puts LPP over the top imo. Really diggin the Flip and Cubed (its similar to the cubed view in Music^3 player) settings. ;o

Depending on the rom I am using I change the launcher I have set.

I have both paid versions(and that is saying a lot I tend to DL apps for free)

I do tend to like launcher pro + a little more. It seems to work better on 2.3.1(moto droid) CPU set to 800 max too so its not a CPU hog.

Meh caved in and installed it on the nightly. <3 it. I just have to uninstall ADWLauncher after every update. Takes like 30 seconds.

Iv always had major issues with the droids camera. it seems to somehow be linked to the battery level. if it drops to under 40% the camera goes to crap.

Mine was at full, it stops focusing now and take blurry as fuck pics
