Also, I am fucking LOVING CM7

http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/16/m...er-once-again/Want some more Droid 3 eye candy? If you just recently bought a Droid 2, the answer is probably "no, please, no" -- but nonetheless, we've got some for you. A couple more shots of the rumored refresh have popped up on HowardForums once again, showing off a QWERTY keyboard that looks largely similar to the one it's replacing with one very, very notable exception: it's a 5-row deal this time around with what appear to be half-height keys for the numeric row. People love 5-row keyboards, so if this is legit -- and we really have no reason to doubt that it is -- that feature alone could move a lot of phones. More on this soon, we hope.
I cracked my iphone screen as posted in another thread. Looks like I can get 400+ if I'm lucky for it on ebay, minus the 300+ to cancel at&t contract, I'll have a few dollars to put into re-opening my verizon contract and grabbing an android phone.
IF I were to go with this ridiculous route, is there anything out now worth doing it for, should I wait for the next version of iphone to hit VZ or is there some future android device I will have to have that would be worth waiting for?
5 rows is OH so worth it. Had a 3 row keyboard before, shit sucks, 5row on my epic is so <3
Flash 10.2 out on the market place for a host of different android devices.
Edit: Including the xoom.
depends, the TB might be worth it to you once the battery life is worked out with custom stuff, 4g is said to be good too so that really is something to think about.]. Or you can wait for the droid bionic dual core. Your call really, I like android over ISO so thats just me, if you favor ISO then stick with it.
If nothing else go in and test the thunderbolt (or droid 2/x if your thinking droid bionic) and see how you like the OS. Its a fairly large jump from one to the other, see to it that you like the feel of the OS first.
Ok so maybe, this is an android general question or it could be an epic 4g question, so here it goes:
My dad just today got an epic 4g for himself and for whatever reason his ringer, or volume even with maxed out everything is tons of times lower than my ringer. Now my phone is rooted but I didn't do anything to the ringer when I rooted it nor when I first got it that would of made it any louder other than max the volume out. We can't the phone back right now because the shop closed and he didn't realize it until just now. But in the meantime is there anything I can check or do that might change or that I can do to figure out why it is so low?
EDIT: Nvm, I figured it out, had to pull the battery because the low volume was apparently caused by the over-the-air update the phone automatically downloaded.
Speaking of, is there any more specific date than Q2 2011 for this? Or any indication on when they are planning to at least announce it the release date? Heard rumors of a middle April release but nothing concrete. I'm eligible to upgrade my droid 1 right now and I'd like to wait for this if its only another month or two.
Don't think anything new has come up about it. Have not seen anything about it on the forums in some time.
Funny thing about the tb voice+data over 3g is I am seeing no discernible data speed slowdown when I am on a call. Rumor was you were to only get about 200kb/s.
Sooooo... the EVO3D.... Get rid of the 3D, charge a lower price, and I'M SOLD! It might be cool to be able to take 3d pics and vids, but highly doubt I'd use it often enough. With that said, think Cyanogen&crew can get an AOSP 3D cam going?
24mbit down 4mbit up in memphis. Vz doesn't even show Memphis as having LTE on their map yet.

Leaked netflix app apperently workibg now on select phones. Doesn't work on my DX though.
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
I grabbed it, cause really why not? But looking at the comments on that page it may work, but it isn't connecting to Netflix. On some it just doesn't work at all it seems. I can't imagine using it too often on my DINC but ya never know.
I hope you guys are taking advantage of the Amazon appstore free apps. Yesterday was Shazam and today is SwiftKey which I am using now and is freaking amazing.
