That's all nice to test out apps and shit, but if it's in the traditional market. I'd get it from there. I don't like the fact that you have to have Amazon Appstore on the phone for any apps obtained from there.

I need a better camera app. Any suggestions? The white balance setting on my stock one blows.

After installing Vignette, I have never looked back. It HAS tons of 'styles' if you want to use them, but even if you are just using the normal settings it is much nicer than the default camera app.

Has anyone else noticed a (significant) drop in their battery life since installing the amazon app store? My Evo went from draining around 10% at night to nearly 30% this past week and the only thing I can think I've changed was installing their app store and the new Angry Birds. Thought I'd check if anyone else has noticed this problem before I uninstall them..

Have talked to two other friends whose Evo batteries have also crapped out in the past week... Not sure what to think about that, but neither of them have the amazon app store, so guess that's not the culprit..

Now that you mention it, my phone's battery life has also tanked a little. Then again, I have background data disabled and I play PSX alot.

they took down the netflix app(it no longer works they found out about the leaked app)
I like cyan better, worked better on my droid. BB for whatever reason never sat well.

Talked to one more person who also said his Evo battery life dropped out of the blue, so guessing something is up (or the people I talk to all have bad luck). I unplugged my phone 2 hours ago and now it's already down to 90% charge (all I've done is answer 6 texts). This is getting ridiculous so gonna go talk to Sprint tomorrow and see if bitching can get me an explanation or at least a new battery..

Sooo I installed CM7 and it's like forever loading my google info, should I restart or does it normally take fucking hours?

I dunno honestly, maybe it seems like forever cuz ur paying attn to it? U talking about contacts? I think it seemed to take awhile for me, just never noticed it cuz I did batch restore in titanium backup at the same time

should not take to long. 300 contacts and it never seemed to take more then as he said 5min. My father had some 3000 contacts and it did not even take long(tho to be fair hes only had a evo and thunderbolt 4g could speed it up a lot I guess)

It literally took 3 hours and still nothing so I restarted it and it worked, seems it froze I guess

So far i'm loving CM7 on my droid, but is there a easier way to USB tether, plus I lost my Wireless tether from Bugless beast, does CM7 support wireless tethering on droid?
