Verizon gave me a free upgrade to a X2 today from my X because of a dead pixel lol... got it today and... qHD is ugly... the Grass Live Wallpaper is absolutely horrid looking. My gf's Incredible 2 seems snappier. :\ Hopefully GB fixes it, going back to Froyo = feels bad man.
Can anyone get me this apk? https://market.android.com/details?i...n%3DAndroidPIT For whatever reason it's saying my X2 isn't compatible with it... all I've done is root.
Nvmd found them on Dev's site.
Still on the fence about going from iPhone to Android. Is there a way to back up everything in your system and move it to another Android phone if needed? Or at least the settings and apps?
Yes, contacts get stored to your gmail account and can be imported to android phones and other eco systems as well i believe. With apps, you have numerous ways... Titanium BackUp is the obvious choice if your rooted, saves everything you want from apps to settings etc. Or this app called myappsharer, you could email your self all the apks of the apps you want to save/transfer between phones.
Holy shit, has anyone used Zumocast? I'm loving it so far, I hope this shit stays free.
it's basically streaming images, video and music from your PC on your 3g connection or wifi, its so smooth too
Just got my D3 today. Was hoping to hold off until a 4G QWERTY keyboard Android was released but damnit, I couldn't help myself!
If you have root backup with titanium backup(or some other app) move to the new device and keep data, if you don't mind losing data the market backs up all your apps
Need to use the same gmail account, much like itunes accounts on new ISO devices
Idk why but my phone is saving internet downloads to my phone's memory instead of SD card, anyone know a fix?
How the fuck long does ZumoCast take to sync? Trying to sync up my media server to the phone and it doesn't appear to be doing anything. Given; I have 350 gigabytes of music and TV shows. . . just wondering if it's going to take me over half a hour any time I wanna watch or listen to something or if it's a one time thing.
EDIT: Completely unrelated, the app I used to customize the LED on my Droid1 does not exist anymore and I can't seem to find one that works with Droid 3, any recommendations? I like having different colored blinks on my LED for text messages, email, missed calls, and voicemails.
Just chiming in/confirming ZumoCast is indeed the tits. I already had Google Music, so my music collection was covered, but it is nice to have the rest of the files on remote access. At least 1 piece of a bloatware I wont be uninstalling come root.
