I agree, that's why I hopped on the Droid 3 bandwagon. Plus I love the physical keyboard.

Did any of my D3s update their D3 from that server pulled update?
Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk
The Vigor has to be 4.5" if it's going to be a 720p resolution, right?
Updated PRL available
Over at the moto forums someone discovered that a new PRL (52363) is available and signal strength seems improved. Those of us experiencing signal induced battery degradation will likely feel the love. I ended the day yesterday at 83% (13 hours, extended batt). In case you are unaware, *228 send and option 2 gets you the update.
Droid 3s orly I think
just dont do a OS update when rooted thats like giving HIV to your phone.
Anyone have a place they buy adhesive strips from for their phones? getting sick of using glue took me an hour to clean up a screen I was fixing lol. I put a little to much on
Ill take a $5.00 hit to any money I make if it makes it a tad more easy.
My att upgrade is up..... was wondering if there are any upcoming android phones that are worth looking at?
Is att getting the new Galaxy S II? That might be worth looking at, I've heard good things about the specs, but some people seem to hate "Touch Wiz?"
edit: Looks like they are: http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/news/...-september.ars
Only 2 weeks away too.... yea, thats most likely the phone i'll get.
Probably gonna wait on purchasing til oct..... just until apple announces the next iphone. If nothing worthwhile is changed, im going back to android.

Hey avelle.....engadget is reporting Verizon stores have the bionic in.
Probably not selling til the 8th, buy go haggle!
Is it worth rooting my D3? It can already do so much, but other then removing bloatware (which as far as I can tell is only taking up a few megs of storage) I don't see the point. My only other android device was the original Droid, and I never got around to rooting it so I don't really understand the appeal. I could overclock it I know, but the D3 is already speedy enough for my tastes, and I don't want it getting any hotter then it already does when I start putting it under load...
Moto blur is all thats needed to root any phone if you ask me. Thats just me though. Custom roms, OCing(you can UC) and depending on the kernel you can UV it as well, better battery life may very well run at a lower temp too if you dont OC it like nuts. Debloat(also helps with speed on some phones dont no about d3) and such. Many apps use root as well.
The list goes on and on, if you are happy now and dont think you need it then do not do it. I use tethering once in a blue moon; like today im using it for a fantasy draft when I will be at work, no net. Im not going to pay tethering fees for something I use once a month if that.
What is Motoblur exactly?
Thats Motorola's UI layer on top of Android. It's really the worst one of all the manufacturer UIs.
