Been waiting a few months, and totally planned on getting the Galaxy S II when it got around to releasing on T-mobile, but now ~ With them ditching the Exynos chip to up the "theoretical data speed", I think I'm just going to hold out a bit longer for the Nexus Prime, as long as it lands before December.

I hope dat screen is the same one as SGS2 for that good battery life/viewing angles/sunlight viewing/etc.

We should have a release date next week. I'd assume its anywhere from 2-4 weeks from actual launch.

I don't know what the difference between this and plus is... but so far I have heard the resolution will be 1280x720

I also can't imagine what CyanogenMod will do for Ice Cream Sandwich seeing that ICS will have hardware and GPU acceleration already built in.

CyanogenMod does a lot of other great stuff, like DSP equalization and theming.

Can some one explain to me about this mod? I've heard it mentioned before. I just got a d3, wondering what cool things I can do to the interface by rooting it.

Not much, the Droid 3 is pretty locked down, so you can't put CyanogenMod on it

Main reason? Its fast as FUCK. It rocked my Droid 1 hardcore. If you want to keep a phone for longer, most people say "get CM7" it really speeds things up. Its AOSP and it has everything cut out(all apps like no maps or anything) you install only what you want. This can be done, but at the same time the OS seems to be optimized for each device it works on. CM7 by far is one of the best ROMs ever made. Its so good I think Samsung sent them a GS2 to work on? someone did might have been the nexus X or something.

The folks over at BGR have received what they believe to be the official spec list and name for the next Nexus device, thanks to a trusted source. And what name has been decided on? Galaxy Nexus of course. The same name we have been using for weeks now thanks to a couple of our trusted sources.
They are also reporting that the G-Nex will be a Verizon exclusive and a completely stock Ice Cream Sandwich device, something we haven’t seen in years. No bloatware or skins here, folks.
The spec list is after the break. I’ll just say that this matches up perfectly to what I have been told and believe it to be legit. Thank Buddha, someone else finally reported on it so that we can start talking about it more openly.

Oh, the only thing I was not told about was which specific processor was included. Knew it was an OMAP at 1.2GHz, but with rumors of delays on the 4460, we were assuming they had just overclocked the 4430 to 1.2GHz – hoping they figured it all out and went big.

CM7 is so good that Samsung hired Cyanogen is what you meant to say. lol
