Not yet but there are about 3 leaked ICS versions for ReZound out, just waiting for the Official OTA update which should be soon

I'm going to finally break down and get a smart phone. I really have no reason to get something that is fast, I only need something that has a long battery life. I've been told that a good solution is a higher end phone that's underclocked. Anyone have any suggestions?

Of the ones listed I'd say Nexus. Vanilla ICS is too lovely to be touched by crappy skins.

Currently have the razor maxx and a Samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket.

The skyrocket battery life does not even come close to the battery life of the Maxx.

If I wanted to root my droid 3 and get something like ics on it, wheres a good place to start?

slap on safestrap root the thing using a auto rooter tool and then make a nandroid back up and flash away!

look around first, each rom has two forms for the most part as the droid 3 saw a release in Canada as well. As such most devs created two roms one for the USA and one for the Canada one.

The Galaxy Note has 10hrs of talk time compared to 7hrs for the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, if you don't mind the size.

probably a bad place to ask, but i just got my 1st smart phone last week and it's a HTC one X, lol. this is probably a stupid question, but i wouldn't mind getting BG's perspective. but what is your stance on rooting the phones? i'm a bit pit paranoid regarding the warranty since HTC can be dicks about stuff like that. i would think you could reset it like you can with a 4s on Itunes, but i'm getting nothing but horrible or biased reviews/perspectives on this when i google/youtube it

From what I've heard, you can undo a root pretty easily, and if you have to return it they won't be able to tell the difference. However, if something happens to it that causes you to not be able to unroot it before returning it (like breaking the screen), the warranty is void.

Of course, it may be different for your phone. My Samsung GS2 is rooted, and I've had no problems.
