I like how every store besides the Sprint stores have this phone in. Awesome.
was all but written in stone, but it is now 100% official the LTE versions of S III will be the S4 Dual Core.

So, my upgrade is up on the 15th of June, and I was thinking of getting the S II Skyrocket. Should I just wait for S III? Or, should I even get the Skyrocket at all?
Wait on the s3 IMO
Damn. 5 more days if June 20th is the correct release date... I was afraid of that. Lol.
meh, Skyrocket will probably drop in price when SIII hits and really isn't worth the cost upgrade to the SIII. I say save a buck and just go with the Skyrocket. Nothing in SIII really special.
how is the battery life of each? Tests for how long the life off the S3 where done on the quad core; the dual core is said to be way better with lte, I wonder if will get all day use from it. If so the price would be well worth it. the extra GB of ram might also help in this matter so long as they have optimized it. I was under the imprecation that 1GB was our max on ram because of how android uses ram?
I know more ram can equal better battery life but that require major changes to how the system utilizes it. Also how fast is the ram I can not find anything on that, lots of slow ram is pointless to speeding up the device lol
I'm sure the Dual-core will be better with LTE...the quad can't do LTE, lol.
It's a larger stock battery than the Skyrocket, but it's pushing out a lot more pixels, and stuff like S-Voice is gonna rely on sensors more than Skyrocket (with proper battery management) so it will have a higher drain. In the end, the battery use time, so stock batteries, I would guess to be almost equal.
my major use is text, a few calls a day and voice mail, some apps, google the normal stuff. I dont wont ever use S-Voice if its anything like the ones in the play store now they drain battery life more then any other app. One of them was at 40% of battery use after a day of use. SCREW THAT.
All I care about is battery life, how it is typing on it, how the screen looks, network speed and such(I do use google voice controls for typing from time to time but that works fine as is with googles built in system)
video/camera shots are a plus.
overall I want a fast, phone with a nice sized screen to type on with at least 14 hours of life. If it falls into that I very well will be getting it.
The real meat and potatoes of the deal...the S3 is honestly really nothing more than parts of a Galaxy Nexus and Skyrocket shoved together. Most of the "new" things are honestly nothing more than software. Something proven already that virtually all of the S3 apps work just fine on older phones. The only real benefit you are getting is a larger system partition, more RAM (LTE Version will have 2GB) and larger stock battery. That's about it. Not worth the cost.
In Canada is the pricing the same? I feel like we should see a drop in price without the quad core in it. But I bet it will be the same price ~_~ I was sorta hoping it might get priced at 699 off contract. I have so many amazon gift cards I could pull off a $100 price tag at that V.S 200 lol
edit: Er i ment 699 lol
Also... its about fing time. Quicoffice Pro was updated to 5.5(when? ) and now has spell check! It was a free app of the day way back on the amazon appstore I do not know if it really is worth the $15 price tag or not but this is going to help me with note taking a ton on my transformer.
Also can anyone recommend something to clean my tablets screen with! grr thing got really dirty with finger prints once and I can not get it clean lol.
I've always used iKlear for my screens, works great: https://www.klearscreen.com/
Tapatalk is on sale for one buck if any of you don't have it by now
worth full price, do not be sad! lol there are such few app's I use every day. That is one of them. I think I even got mine free somehow(contest) but I ended up paying for it when I lost the APK. I feel no pain paying full price thing rocks so much. For some reason the shortcut to BG will crash on me at times, I never get this with any other forum.
