have you not shown her netflix instant queue?
They don't really have many recent things, you might be better off with Hulu+ when that comes out but between the two you shoudl be covered..
Well i just bought her the new playon which is turning out to be what was missing. She loves her reality shows and other stuff that isn't on hulu. I personally just download anything i want to watch and stash it on my media server in the basement.
yeah that's the way I do it, I mean with what you save by not getting expensive cable packages you can get a 2tb external pretty easy, got one the other day for 120. I mean if you're huge on watching something live, then cable might be for you, but most good shows are available online 15 minutes or less after airing.
Your name looks like a straight up spambot and your first post is about how you can watch episodes of a show no strings attached.
I really enjoyed the new episode. What I love about this show is that it's shocking, but not because of Louis C.K. being profane. The show is so morbid, stark, and bold that it's just not like other things on network television especially. Like the speech he gave about how he's going to kill himself when his daughter's don't need him anymore or his disbelief that he's a good father simply because he pays any attention. It's so honest and ugly which is a really interesting dichotomy up against the glut of reality based television on every network now.
But I also like that he can still be profane and silly. Young pussy always smells good.
I fucking love this show, god damn is it great. Like 4 of my favorite shows are on FX now...this along with The League, Its Always Sunny, and Rescue Me. Really like that FX pretty much is no holds barred, they really let a ton of shit fly. This Louis guy is so much like the humor I use and appreciate, will definitely have to check out some of his other stuff.
Just don't ever watch Pootie Tang. Check out his stand up specials (particularly Shameless). He also does some really excellent interviews you could look up.
I caught up on the first four episodes and laughed my ass off, but I can't remember when it's actually on to watch it when it airs. Louis C.K. is fantastic.
Love the series.
I'm only part way through the first episode but the awkwardness physically hurts me to watch.
This week's episode was hilarious, especially the beginning.
Great news from ign
It was announced today that FX has ordered a 13-episode second season for their new critically acclaimed comedy Louie, starring Louis C.K..
"Louis has made a truly original series - a comedy unlike anything on television, but perfect for his unique voice," said John Landgraf, President and GM of FX. "We are very happy with the show's performance and critical acclaim, and are delighted to move forward with a second season. With the pickup of Louie, FX has renewed all three new original comedies that the channel debuted over the last year."
Seven new episodes remain for season one, airing on Tuesdays. The final two episodes will air back-to-back on September 7 behind the season three premiere of Sons of Anarchy.
In addition to Louie's sophomore victory, FX has also ordered a pilot for another half-hour comedy Alabama, from Reno 911! creators Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon.
Alabama takes place a thousand years in the future, aboard the United Nations peacekeeping spaceship, the USS Alabama. The series begins six years into a seven-year voyage as the ship's crewmembers attempt to maintain peace, encounter strange, alien life-forms and try to have sex with each other in their tiny metal bunks.
The pilot for Alabama will be produced by FX Productions and is scheduled for shooting in September.
lol, tonight's episode was the best one yet.
I know I'm going to want to say this to my mother at some point and it's going to be hard not to.
Spoiler: show
So so so glad this show got picked up. And I'm excited for the new Thomas Lennon show.
That was a pretty bizarre episode, but not bad overall. It wasn't as funny as the last one with his now lesbian mom, but it was pretty good. I liked the way he talks about his kids on stage as a contrast to what his life is like when they're not around. And the stoner fucking with him was pretty surreal.
