Declaring something an utter impossibility due to some website limitation technicality is kinda silly.

Buying an extra copy of the game for $50 and quick reselling it for $35-40 minus code isn't that big of a deal. There are quite a few gamers who are anal about getting all the extras, even if they are worthless extras. See: the absurdly valuable WoW pets/mounts or the people paying $100+ for the preorder exclusive Transformers that will be released in a few months as DLC for ~$5. It would bring me $10-15 of enjoyment to have everything at launch.
That is what I am hoping. The layout of the NA site makes me believe otherwise but I hope you're right.
I'm getting 2 CEs.
One to use, and one to keep sealed until my dying breath.
Spoiler: show
hmm looks like amazon didn't get the memo

Amazon also lists a 6-day early access....they should read more careful >>
In for collector's edition! Going to be a loooong summer.
I need to buy an entirely new power gaming pc by september then.
I'll probably come cry here for opinions with the specs. Consider yourselves warned.
Pretty pissed about the delayed PS3 version as most of my friends (including SO) were planning to play on PS3. Even though my rig is ready for september :/
^Well... at least you'll be good to PL them once they can play![]()
So im gonna ask a stupid question, faster to order or amazon than gamestop (or are there better ones than those 2?)
So does it say in the preorder when you'd get your code for people who've done it online? Says its supposed to be through the retailer.. so I don't think it'd be in the package.
Amazon does have the Release Date Delivery option, so in theory it shouldn't make a difference.
I considered it, but I'm just going to get it at Gamestop. Amazon's Release Date Delivery can take until 7PM, I'd imagine by time you get it installed and updated it'd probably be about 9.
I have a hunch that the Japanese will be a minority this time, at least until March :D.
Hopefully that'll "force" them to communicate with us more >_>
I'm happy that it's going out more world wide this time, maybe i just like the idea of clutures clashing though. Might get crowded quick but it'll be a change from 11's numbers~
Haven't played 11 in almost two years now, but before I left it seemed like NA HNMLS were greatly surpassing JP HNMLS.
It'll be interesting to see who's on top from the start this time around.
Would be best to have a multi-country LS, cover all those time zones, downside would be communication,...
Will there be NA/EU/JP version of FFXIV?
Is is OK to buy a US version from Europe? And pay with European Credit Card?
I didn't see any NA/EU/JP versions available yet - the only split I see is Collectors Edition/Normal Edition and PS3/PC. No mentioning about different regions.
What do you think?
