I got a code for my 360 version of FF13, but only got an avatar picture from the code. No FFXIV item. : ( I got the game at launch too.

the code for the item was only in the PS3 version of FFXIII. maybe SE's way of saying sorry that you're fucked and have to wait 6 months longer for FFXIV, here that should make up for it.

quick question for my fellow EUs.

Since it seems only 5 outlets are pre-selling the game right now, and they all seem to be located in the UK. Which one of them are fastest to deliver outside of UK? (in this case sweden)

Kinda feels silly to order the CE for exclusive access if most of that time is spent on the delivery itself (altho I'll order it anyway for the hat and the lolmap)

Register on the square-enix members site. Register the PS3 FFXIII code. Receive code for FFXIV (may need to check the FFXIII bonus section within SE members site). Use this code during FFXIV account creation.

360 FFXIII doesn't get you the armguards.

you need the PS3 code, you got to the SE members website, then the FF13 page, and on the side there's a thing to redeem your code. You type in the code from the box, and get another code that will be used when you create your character for 14.

They don't take place at the same time. FFXIV is in the future while FFXI is in the past. No visable story overlaps yet except for stuff like summons and mobs. (whoops forgot the Far East empire that got rofled by the mothership. no word on if you can go there)

I'm not looking this up but it's in a joint interview with gloomy and fatzilla. A question about timeframe where XIV takes place. One of them says FFXIV is so far in the future that you could probably dig up fossils of XI. (Not saying it's FFXI-2 but that it takes place in the same universe on a different land mass in the future)

Webhallen.com have it listed, but without any info about the CE-items. It should be up shortly, they're usually fast on stuff like this.

No time limit, but what other people failed to mention was the right code was only available in the first wave copies of XIII in your region. I don't think there's anyway to tell if your XIII copy is a first wave or not though.
