I gave this another listen because it seems that I have upset you with what I said. I honestly wish I could say I've changed my mind, because I love hearing new music. The vibe remains pretty lackluster throughout the entire song. It seems you tried to spice things up a little bit with a few pauses here and there, but you use the same break almost the entire song which is one of the major killers for me. The clapping deal, while not really my thing, was actually well done within idea of the song, so I can feel ya there.

And what Nor was saying about the baseline not coming across right wasn't what I was really shooting for when I said my original statement. It's that the song just doesn't have any feeling to it. I get the notion that you don't actually enjoy music when I listen to the song, which is another major turn off for me. I can't listen to something that I don't think you can even listen to, basically.

Before you go and get all trollollolloll again, I mean what I just wrote. I'm not trying to be a dick to you, because I really don't have shit against you (so you like V-necks, big whoop) . I know it helps me become a better musician when people are critical about the music that I write, and I think it'd be unfair if I wasn't honest to you as well.

you just don't know the genre. you don't listen to it enough or probably have any want to appreciate it. it's minimalism and it's dance music. it's supposed to be repetitive and it's written for dj's that play minimal. there is so much structure and architecture in that track that you aren't picking up on for a number of reasons. first being you're listening to the track on shitty computer speakers or headphones. two, you've never sat in front of a DAW to construct a song before

your critique of my track is akin to some redneck looking at a picasso and saying "i don't get it yall people r square this is dum"

now if you were to compare my track to others in my genre as your basis of analysis, or could critique each sound in some level of depth like norellicus you might have some substance to your complaining

nice one man, thanks for the input. you kinda hit on what I was aiming for, just a nice dark roller without too many peaks and valleys with some nice rhythmic percussion to push it along

it's meant more to fit in to an entire mix of moody minimal than stand out on its own
