I dont even know where to begin to figure out how to get the Tonberry crown to pop Bloodeye. Theres a shit ton of tonberrys in the DATs but nowhere to be seen. :/

Well, some triggers can drop from giant gold chests but not sure if thats exclusive to the chest only or not. It also might come from an NPC meeting a certain fame requirement but I don't have the .DATs on me to check that out.
Dying to see what the last tier NM is and what he drops, especially his atma.

Rokugo hachimaki is the club skill headband. The title granted is Fistule Drainer, as expected.

We had a pld/nin hold fistule when the Postules popped; Excalibur procs did about 1% each. The rest of the ally (wars, blms, and a sam or two) killed the postules when they popped. We tried some skillchains and magic bursts, but we didn't get any !!. Most of the damage was from the pld, since the postules had a lot of hp and took a while to die, so we didn't have all that much time to experiment. It was a long fight, probably 30 minutes or so. Fortunately, we'd found several time chests while popping the flan NM. Since we weren't aware, when Fistule aggros, the flan NM instantly dies.

It has an endrain effect on its melee attacks, about 20% of damage done from what I saw.

We now have the key item from the peiste and fistule, on the same person. With luck, we should be able to pop the next tier NM soon.

Out of curiosity, did the person who got key item claim Guimauve and drag it over? Or did they simply perform the first action on Fistule? Don't want to end up with a stray key item. :\

Yes, he performed the first action on Guimauve, dragged it over, and did the first action on Fistule as well.

Pavan (Hindu god of wind.. might be a garuda mob. as a point of Mythical reference, Bhumi (of earth) is in Tahrongi and Akash (of aether/space) exists in La Theine dats.

Xzomit family:
Ab'xzomit
Khalamari

One would assume Ab'xzomits are used to pop Khalamari, but no pop spot has been found for it. Most likely popped by unconventional means.

Lesser Arimaspi (assuming Arimapsi can pop shadows or something)

Wyvern family:
Viridis Wyvern
Balaur

Funny how neither of these have surfaced either. These are to Konschtat what the Opo-opo are to LaTheine.

Eccentric Eve - a Marlboro, by virtue of the way the NM is named.
gonna just call her Tier 3 because if Tier 1 are NMs spawned from items and Tier 2 are NMs spawned from key items that Tier 1 NMs drop, Eve requires drops from Tier 1 and 2 NMs, making her above 2, therefore 3 lol.

Tonberry Bedeviler
Tonberry Lieje
Bloodeye Vileberry

Bloodeye drops a title and is spawned by key item, which by trend implies he is tier 2. And since he's spawned by some tonberry crown, it would mean the lesser tonberry drop that crown, probably. but they're 'Tier 1' because they have to be popped and aren't free spawning.. or something. weird that theres 2 types instead of just 1. Or maybe they are lackeys that get summoned. big mystery there

It would seem the bedeviler would be normal mobs, Lieje possibly free-spawning NM within them that drops the crown to pop Bloodeye. The problem lies in figuring out how to pop them.

Tonberry Lieje is most likely a Kinq Tonberry, that drops the key item..

and then theres Bloodeye.

so.. the question is.. under what conditions do the NQs start popping? and where is the spawn point for the Lieje? or if he is lotto-popped.. just how do you get the Tonberry families to start popping?

Same question goes for Viridis Wyvern and Ab'Xzomit.. both are whole families...

Yes Bakka's stuff can (and should be) Stunned. Even Blizz 5 ignored shadows like a prime avatars nukes. Stunners and Ranged damage are your friends on this guy.


Side note. Last night we fought Bloodguzzler and went 2/4 on Grailai earrings. One thing i noticed and havent seen anyone comment on was any NM's weakness? I used Raging rush on one of the bloodguzzlers and got 2 giant exclamation points over its head.

Im assuming the !! was a notification of exploiting its weakness, but i have no idea HOW we did it. I tried closing a few different SC's like Fragmentation, but i couldnt get the double exclamations again so im not sure it was a SC, maybe something else weird, like 3 slashing WS in a row or soemthing.... dunno

i'm willing to bet that tomorrow's 9hr maintenance will have some additions to the zones. (it wouldn't be unlike developers to charge for and release content that wasn't exactly finished or fully implemented.)

First question: When the Flan NM dies on contact does it give any EXP/C/Items? Or does it just "Fall to the ground" with pretty much no credit?

Second question, at the risk of turning on the switches of the usual AV Theorists... Did you per chance try a Club WS or a SC involving two weapons that need the Vile of Fistule Distcharge to get the " !! " to happen?

Reason I suggest this is the strong hinting towards Clubs, Drops the Club Headpiece, and the items for making the Emperyean club etc.

We didn't get a !! to happen, and didn't have anyone with a club meleeing it / using a wing for tp. I don't think anyone used any magic-based weaponskills, other than Atonement. Anyways, most everyone was busy with the Pustules for almost the entire fight. However, the first set of Pustules didn't come until about 75%, so there is some time to try to find the weakness once we understand those a bit better. After the first set died, the next set came on the next tp move. I think we had one or two times where we got off a few skillchains before the next set of Pustules. At about 4% or 5%, we had just one pustule left, so everyone went after the main to finish it off.

The flan did a "falls to the ground" with no xp or drops. I don't think the pustules gave xp/cruor, but I know several of them dropped chests; two were time extensions which we used keys to open. I think we just ignored the other chests.
