Bit more info on Hedal Satiator

Popped the 3 mirror adds for us around 75%, thundaga 3 for 1500 took about 10% off them. Kited them around similar to Arimaspi fight.

NM itself used Thundaga IV, Banish IV, Banishga III, Poisonga III, Fire V, Thunder V. Not sure if it has access to the whole set of spells, seemed to favor the same ones.

Promyvion barrier also gave it undispellable dread spikes.

Besides that, was pretty easy as reported.

Anyone got any info on Turuls pop conditions yet? Pulling 3 pavans under him does absolutely nothing. Couldn't test killing because I was solo, and screw thaaat.

Also isn't just the only things unpopped in this zone the tonberry NM and Turul now? or is there more in the DATs I havn't heard about?

Edit: Acoording to wiki; Atma of the Stormbreath drops off Balaur, Atma of the Stormbird drops off Turul most likely, anyone been able to get Balaur under Turul as of yet? I tried just not, and RDM/WHM isnt gonna cut that shit, gonna try /nin to get it there.

Edit2: Balaur doesn't do shit when its taken under there either.

This may be an obvious question but has anyone gotten the key item off the Tonberry Leije for Bloodeye?

I haven't gotten the key item myself, but I can confirm that it has been killed on Valefor, so the key item most likely does come from Lieje.

Since there are still no reported Bloodeye pops/drops I decided to go and kill Tonberry Leige for they key item.

The fight itself is easily soloable by a rdm/nin as far as I can tell (I gave up at ~50% due to trying sam/nin + rdm/whm and it kept killing sam). It casts fire spells only with a degree of fastcast, it began with flare, firaga3 and fire 4, seemed to start using fire 5 under 50% but i may just have not noticed. It runs at normal speed and stops to cast often so it would be very possible to kite it around the area at conflux 8, nuking when it casts single target spells and using martello when required.

Linkshell member got Twisted Crown of Lieje Confirmed just killed mob. Did not pop other Tonberry yet though.

Well went back and did Leije again as rdm/nin, was complete joke.

Only thing worthy of note is that below 50% it gets firaga4, fire 5 and flare2. It will still cast flare (it will stop using firaga3 and fire4) but it becomes AoE, wiping shadows and doing direct damage. It was still easily survivable since it didn't break stoneskin if i swapped to MDT gear.

Ofcourse no key item but Caller's sash and 1 lantern dropped. Took around 30mins but I was conservative on ranging flare under 50% etc, 2 rdms could probably down this in 5mins with use of the martello and the basic cruor meds.

Pops on Fission TP move, we've had them pop as early as 96%. Killing them repops them again the next time the move is used

It uses spells of it's current element and absorbs damage of its current element. Sounds like you had thunder/light/water/fire..

My question is about Lieje though. I've heard contradictory reports on it being a lottery or a timed spawn. Are you guys just finding it randomly up, or are you killing PHs?

JPs on my server are literally camping it 24/7, and they are constantly killing PHs.

Both times we've killed it it was just wandering around amidst the Cryptoberries.

Its definitely Lotto. Atm there are tons of people killing tonberries for Abyssites in small groups and I'm betting they were unwilling to deal with the NM and just letting it wander.

How do you know it's a lotto if people are constantly killing potential PHs? To prove it's not a timed pop people would have to not kill tonberries for an extended period of time.

Doing some Eves and Kulks tonight, any advice?

Front/back tank for Eve, keep minimal people in conal range so limit charm. Stun Tainting breathe/EBB. Mages at max casting range to avoid Bad breathe. Anything else?

Kulk = Kite around the trees near the hill and have blm/nins? Anything else?

Eve is easily tanked with 4-5 DDs on it, have a pld standing near rngs if you're concerned about stunners. Fight takes 5-10mins.

You can get some height difference going (there's a big hill south west of his spawn iirc) and avoid the AoE spam for your mages while you tank it front and back if you feel like it. Makes the fight a little quicker because the BLMs don't have to be coordinated at all. Can send melee in too.

Is there any confirmation that Lieje drops Bloodeye's pop item?
